First impression, the worst. I had placed a delivery order last night from this place for the first time based on the good reviews. The Fettucine Alfredo was more of a soup with more chicken than pasta, which wouldn't have been too bad if the chicken didn't taste like it should have been tossed out the night before. The pieces were rubbery, and after two bites we decided to call back the restaurant to see what could be corrected. The young hostess/waitress that answered the call seemed very confused and instead of getting a manager, she decided to "ask the chefs what went wrong" and had me on hold for a few minutes. She returns with the offer of a replacement meal, which I had to decline because I highly doubt that it would be any better the second time around. At this point I just wanted a refund if possible, so back on hold I go while she went to speak to a manager. The same voice comes back on the line asking if we had eaten half of the meal already. I had only taken two bites out of it so I wrapped everything up because she stated "we need the complete order so more than half of the food needs to be there". Fine, we left the food in its original containers, and wait for the delivery guy to come back.
The total was $40 (with tip, which the delivery guy couldn't kept, no problem) but he gives me back almost have of that, and shows me a receipt that specified that I only wanted to return the pasta, and not the garlic bread and drink ordered with it. I took back everything but the pasta and called back. Why would I want to keep garlic bread if I have to return the pasta entree I ordered with it?? Read moreWorst experience I have ever had. Ordered food through Seamless at 7:26 pm. The app said the food would arrive between 8:20 pm and 8:30 pm. At 8:40 pm I gave them a call and the girl that answered the phone didn't seem to care that the food was late and said "Oh we are just really backed up." At 8:50 pm I called again and she said "I am not really sure what to do. It should be coming soon." I had to ask what they could do for me because of the inconvenience and they said they could give us 20% off. At 9:00 our food still wasn't here so at 9:01 pm I called again and they said they still didn't seem to care that our food hadn't arrived, but that it had left already. I live two blocks away and at 9:17 pm the food was still not here. The delivery guy finally came at 9:18 pm (almost two hours after I ordered and almost an hour after it was supposed to arrive) and was so apologetic and nice and this wasn't even his fault. Read moreThe food is very good but the service is another story. My son asked the server if he could plug in his phone to charge it. The server took the phone to the bar. When we were done and he asked for his phone back the server brought it back without its case and then walked away. The phone had some oil on i, like the kind you use for dipping your bread into. So he wiped off the oil and ask the server to come back over then asked him for his case. The server returned with the case broken into two pieces and COVERED in oil. The server also handed us the case and then just walked away! Had to call him back over again to find out what happen and he said he did not know how it happen. We had to find the manager who was standing at the bar and tell him what happen. He took forty dollars off of the bill to pay for the case. While this was happening the female bartender was laughing saying what's the big deal just buy another case.
