My go-to sports bar! I've been coming here for longer than I'd care to admit ;-) I have a standard order - wings in the first half, chicken cheesesteak in the second half. The wings are all that! They're meaty, good buffalo taste. Your call on how spicy. I have friends that come here when they're not interested in a game, but just have a wing craving. I control myself by limiting it to only when I'm there for a game - that's some control right? In general, it's enjoyable bar food. Just stick to that. Bartenders are friendly and will remember you. Again, don't go complicated - they're not mixologist - I don't recall not getting beer. If you know you're going, you can make a reservation for your game. If it's a football weekend do that early. There's sometimes a problem getting in for your late game when the early games run long - I get it - they have to let the early game folks finish their game and then close out their tabs - but it creates a bit of stress and annoyance. The bouncers aren't good with...
Read moreFood was decent pub food, but one of our orders was chicken tenders and we were served more breading than chicken - one of which was entirely breading and not a bit of chicken to be had. We informed the bartender, who was the drunkest person in the establishment, and she pawned us off to the owner. After a lengthy wait they fired up the deep fryer for a single additional tender. I’m one who likes when everyone is enjoying themselves, but the whole experience was rather sloppy and I almost found it entertaining to have a single tender delivered to “make it right” on a few hundred dollar bill.
While most of the staff was courteous and attentive, the female bartender and owner certainly didn’t aid in ensuring it was a positive experience - would not recommend in a city where there’s another bar on...
Read moreHave been coming here 10+ years and the wings never disappoint. For wing lovers who want the full breakdown - always super crispy - not dry which is the most important. Great sauce to wing ratio and they’re fresh, never soggy. Dine in is always better than take out (this is a general rule for wings) and they have a large scale of heat levels to choose from. A bit pricey but worth it - the more you buy, the better the deal (ranges from 10-full buckets etc.
Otherwise - staff is friendly and the big scale sports games are usually on all the time, if not, there’s music playing. They have wing specials throughout the week and a pretty extensive menu outside of wings as well. You can sit at the bar or at tables, nothing fancy but that’s part...
