Cordelia — Restaurant in New York

i LOVE word of mouth or should i say cordelia now! However, it was so much better when it was WOM, better staff, better vibes. My experience has been pleasant for the most part except for one particular female staff member who I thought was a little rude today. (it's not about what you say but how you say it) Totally understand that you guys would like for us to pay if we're going to be working from the coffee shop but i live in the area and am always there paying and one of the few days i don't get anything the way she went about expressing that sentiment was rather harsh and i didn't appreciate it all and so i got up and left (my roommate ended up getting something) it honestly put a bad taste in my mouth. Also, i know there may not be much that can be done about this next part but there is a homeless man that goes in there quite often, ofc im sure he's hungry and what not and def wish we could help him more especially now but am i concerned about my safety when he comes in bc unfortunately you never know. I think in the meantime until that's resolved i won't be frequenting cordelia's as much (plus the matcha was much better when Alo was working there, now it's not worth...

I was on a solo night out to get some drinks, recover from a hard week and just hang on a Saturday night. Coco and Luke were the nicest hosts and wonderful to talk to. I perused through the books, got some olives and bread/butter (the best French butter ever) and chatted till closing. The wines are all made by women, and the recently launched cocktails were delicious. I wish I lived around the corner from this place so I could be here to celebrate joy on my good day and find comfort in my bad days. Such a comforting little bubble. So much love, I wish them all...
