First time here, did take out at Bed Stuy location. Food was awful. The vegetable tajine is described as having carrots, turnips, zucchini, sweet potatoes, prunes and apricots for $20 (expected a stew). See photo - it was a pint of overcooked potatoes, carrots, and zucchini in flavorless broth. No turnips, sweet potatoes, prunes, or apricots. It was all mush falling apart in watery broth before you could bite it. Chicken shawarma was shredded and super dry. Tasted reheated. No freshly grilled kebab type pieces you usually see. Cous cous and rice were both dry with no flavor. Only thing that was remotely good was the labne and the baba. WAY WAY overpriced for the quality and the very small portions. Several dishes that are all supposed to come with pickled vegetables did not come with the order. You can definitely find far better Mediterranean in BK for less money and/or larger servings. Wanted this to be a hit because we live near by. In total we ordered the mezze platter, chicken shawarma platter, vegetable tajine, and falafel platter $80, with tax and tip $92. Not sure if the take out experience is different than dining in, but we would’ve been shocked if we had been given this food at the restaurant. Don’t waste your money. Again the dish in the photo...

Dar525 is considered the best restaurant in the whole world according to my daughter ( my daughter is extremely picky). She is completely crazy about the pistachio pizza ( we believe this is the only place in NYC that has the pistachio pizza. They used to have this pizza at the Dar525 in Greenpoint but they don't make that pizza anymore there. Just go to Malcolme X.

The place is excellent: the food is superb, the service is extraordinary.

There is a waiter from Syria who actually speaks Brazilian Portuguese who is fantastic.

The price is really good. The vibe, the location. The whole staff is kind.

It was raining a little today and we stayed outside and the staff provided a guarda sol for us.

We spend almost 45 minutes to get there because we live fairway from the restaurant BUT it was worse every minute to get there.

Just go, go and go. It is really a...

Came here for $40 bottomless brunch on a Sunday morning at around 11:30. It was a divine experience all around. Incredible food, great atmosphere, quick and attentive service. I ordered the Mediterranean breakfast and my friend got the Mediterranean breakfast pizza both of which were delicious and we would order again. The bottomless brunch comes with 1 entree included and unlimited choice of mimosas, beer, sangria, and Bellini and I think it’s a good bang for your buck. We each got four mimosas in the 90 minutes the brunch lasts. We can’t wait...

The food, service and ambiance here is excellent and we certainly hope that they stick around. We had a variety of dishes including a falafel platter, lamb kebab, zataar bread and a chicken flatbread. Everything we had stood out and was equally delicious. The lamb was tender and seasoned well. We loved the variety of sauces and vegetables as well. The house sangria was also refreshing and delightful. We cannot wait to go back and try brunch, the lamb kofta, merguez, and several other dishes on their menu.
