I do not know where to start. This place is a must when it comes to steakhouses. From the complimentary bread to the dessert, everything was on point. It was an experience beyond compare. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was captivated by the outstanding service and the exquisite quality of the food. The quality of the steaks at this establishment is simply exceptional! Each cut was meticulously prepared to perfection, delivering a sensational blend of flavors and textures. The steaks were tender, succulent, and bursting with juiciness, making every bite an absolute delight. It was evident that only the finest ingredients were used, and the attention to detail in the cooking process was second to none. Furthermore, the ambiance of the steak house was elegant and inviting. The tasteful decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating created an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a memorable meal. Whether it's a romantic dinner for two or a gathering of friends and family, this restaurant offers an ambiance that enhances the enjoyment of the culinary delights being served. But the true star of the show is Maruf, our Waiter. His service is truly unparalleled. He greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, making me feel like a valued guest from the very beginning. He was beyond knowledgeable and attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was flawless. He provided insightful recommendations, guiding us through the menu and offering valuable insights about each dish. The only issue that night was that they didn't have any Tomahawk Steaks available, but our waiter Maruf suggested the Prime Ribeye, and I was not disappointed. His attention to detail and genuine passion for providing an exceptional dining experience were evident throughout the evening. Maruf truly impressed me during my dining experience with his extraordinary level of attentiveness and thoughtfulness. He went above and beyond to make the occasion even more special by surprising us with a complimentary dessert. As we were enjoying our meal, engrossed in delightful conversations, he must have overheard our discussion about it being one of our birthdays. Without any prompting or inquiry, and to our surprise and delight, Maruf arrived at our table with two stunning desserts as we were finishing our main courses. The attention to detail and the genuine effort to make the moment memorable were remarkable. The dessert was a delicious and delectable masterpiece that delighted our senses. Each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures. This sweet indulgence perfectly capped off an already exceptional dining experience. In conclusion, DelFrisco's stands out as a true gem among the plethora of dining options available in midtown. The exceptional service provided by the knowledgeable and attentive staff ensures that every need is met with grace and professionalism. The quality of the food is unparalleled, with perfectly cooked and flavorful steaks that are a testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs. From the moment you step through the doors until the moment you leave, this steak house will leave an indelible impression on your taste buds and heart. It is undoubtedly a dining destination that should not be missed. DelFrisco's ability to go above and beyond by providing a complementary dessert without asking was a true testament to their outstanding service. This remarkable act of kindness made our celebration all the more memorable. It reinforced our belief that this establishment is truly a cut above the rest.
P.S. I do have a menu suggestion. Take that bread and sandwich it with the meatballs, and you will have a showstopper for lunch. Perhaps you can call it the Grego?

Read moreSo Happy Valentines Day I guess. My partner and I made a reservation at Del Fresco’s on 2.14.23 for 7 pm. It was packed, which I could understand for it to have been valentines day. It took about 10 minutes for us to be sat at the table. When we got to the table the busboy instantly bought us water. The waiter walked over she didn’t tell us her name. She took our drink orders, She went to quickly running away again. I asked her when she returns can you bring us straws for our glasses. Still waiting and watching her pass multiple times and still no straw. I stopped the busboy again asking him to bring us straws, and instantly Shya jumped in for him and said she’ll get them. She also returned with our cocktails that we ordered about 10 minutes prior. That’s when I asked for her name, because she needed to be recognized. Still waiting for her to come back over to take our appetizer and entree orders, I began to move the menus to the edge of the table as some sort of communication that we have already read the menu and knew what we wanted. Eventually when time permitted she came back to our table. At that point again we already knew what we wanted. We ordered the “Double tasing” which we chose the caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, two filets one cooked medium rare, the other medium well, two lobster tails, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. In addition we wanted to order a half of dozen of oysters. She wrote it down so rapidly, and didn’t repeat the order that as soon as she walked away Im sure she gonna mess something up because it was no way she wrote that whole order that quick. She returned right back to the table and we laughed instantly, she then said “Im sorry guys but the lobster Mac and cheese is not a part of the double tasting.” I immediately said, we didn’t order that to begin with, and I repeated the order once again to her for accuracy. The appetizers came out shortly after. We finished them and the table was cleared, and we sat there. My water glass sat empty so long that I took my partners water and began to drink his and switched glasses. She then came back to the table, and asked us have we gotten our oysters, and we replied no. I also asked for more water at that time. By this time Im sure she noticed that I became agitated. After finishing the oysters our entrees came out. The way it was plated I asked the runner which steak was medium rare and medium well. He said that he doesn’t know, he just plates and run. At this point I was just disgusted with my experience. She then came back over and told us which steak was which. We asked for additional plates to separate the meals. While having the entrees Emilio the manager was table touching to follow up with guest experience. As he reached our table he said I want to know how things are going, and my answer was do you really want honesty. I went through a list of things that went wrong. I explained that I’ve been here multiple times and NEVER experienced an experience as this one here. I also told him that Shya is a great server, and I dont know where they went wrong with this one. He offered us another round of drinks and comped our food. We were grateful but that doesn’t take away the feeling of not seen. I hate to say it was a race thing and her other tables were not African American, but regardless we all are spending the same amount of money, and shouldn’t be treated any different. Again this wasn’t my first time here. Water refills and checking in on the table isn’t that hard to do. It kind of ruined our Valentines day. Thank you Rina, which I later found out her name because I looked on the credit...
Read moreMichael was great. He was amazing. AWESOME. THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT HIM. Happy Holidays. At first I just thought this hostess was racist. But when he treated my female Asian friend the same, I realized it was just poor lifestyle habits. On December 19, 2024 between the hours of 6PM to 8PM, there was a male white, blue suit, light tie, button down shirt, glasses, slicked back grey hair, in his mid to upper 40s, about 5’10, 210 pounds in the front as a hostess with the upmost disgusting attitude of the whole entire experience. First of all, my friend took me out for my birthday and made reservations a month in advance. The hostess acted like he did not want to take us at all. Then my friend bought me a cake and off the back the guy goes:”Oh we don’t accept cakes…” then whispers :”unless you have a private room “ But my friend did not hear that part. We got there early and it was packed and loud. But I heard him. So my friend expressed she does have a private room. The hostess still DID NOT WANT TO ACCEPT THE CAKE. So granted, I understand there’s rules and regulations, however why would someone unknowingly and arbitrarily just purchase something and try to waste time, money and patience to get it into an establishment? It probably happens often but it’s costly. So after my friend convinced him to accept the cake, he started to huff and puff about the health department and health inspector saying that we are not allowed to eat cake in this restaurant. But sir, didn’t you just whisper “unless you have a private room”? So which one is it? (I said to myself)So he takes the cake and he opens the box. He pulls out the cake and started to touch and inspect it himself. I was highly disturbed. I understand the regulations of not bringing a cake, but it was allowed. I’ve never seen anyone or any hostess inspect anything that’s allowed in a restaurant. Then he puts it back in the box and says :”well I have to tell the health liaison in the back about this. I’ll take it but I have to tell them”. This whole time I stuck to myself. I did not want to ruin my night. So that was that, as we showed up 2 hours early. Now we come back an half hour before the reservation, and my female Asian friend told me her experience. She was skipped multiple times and was waiting to be spoken to for about 15 minutes. She was never seen. I pulled her away as I didn’t expect her to be there. But I also saw the anger on her face. The guy that she pointed out that skipped her was walking on the street with me. Passed me and walked in. My female Asian friend was there before me on my second entry. This male white hostess was annoyingly awful. He may of been having a bad day, but for a beautiful restaurant like Del Frisco’s he did not fit the part, at all. I had to take the time to write about my experience because it almost ruined my whole night. People come to spend hundreds of dollars and have a great time but not at the expense of that person. He makes me not want to comeback nor would I recommend the restaurant knowing that anyone would have to experience this guy. Keep jolly. Happy...
