I love going to DIG, but I will avoid the Williamsburg location from now on. A few pointers read below : 1 . This bowl was $19 for a very poor portion of kale , the broccoli is 80%root had no taste 3 carrots and the salmon was very fishy and dry maybe a few days old . 2. Their customer service is by far the worst experience I ever had . They stare at the customers with lots of attitude as if we are a pain because they are filling online orders , I honestly feel bad for people who order delivery who think the food arrives with bad presentation because of the delivery drivers but it’s actually their lack of passion for presentation of even portion control. Awful will never come back again, Thankfully on the same block there’s 4 other choices for healthy food and all treat their customers better and give better portions with excellent quality .

Dig Inn is one of my favorite "good food fast" places for lunch. The kind of high nutritional value prepared simple but well place that reminds you of mom's or grandma's cooking - if you were lucky enough to have that sort of upbringing. I've eaten at various locations in the city. This one just off Bedford Ave in Williamsburg is great! Bright with high ceilings and all glass front, the eating room is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is wide open with a "we have nothing to hide here" vibe and the service is professional and quick. Today I had the farrow base, with mushrooms and rutabaga as side 1, and quinoa and collard greens as side 2. Dark chicken meat and a tofu aioli sauce, yummy

One of the best chain restaurants around, the quality and service is consisted among all the locations I have visited. The food is locally sourced and you can tell the recipes were prepared by chefs. The staff and service at this location was spot on and I love how they give you as many sauces to try for free. My go to plate consists of charred chicken or meatballs with sides of spiced farro, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and charred broccoli. The best sauce is the tarragon mustard. The pricing and portions are great for the quality of food served.

I visited dig inn on Sunday it was my first time eating at the chain. I was enthusiastic and let the person at the counter know it was my first time. She pretty much did nothing to welcome or help, and I stood at the counter confused trying to figure out how their system works etc. I opted for greens, broccoli, chicken thighs, and sweet potatoes. I wanted a glass of wine and the cashier had no clue what was available. But finally she pointed to the wall menu, I had the only red from Gotham City. The food was bland, the chicken thighs were a far cry from charred, and the potatoes while nicely seasoned were a tad undercooked. The best part of the plate were the greens and I was left wishing I had put together a salad instead. But I had not seen any salad type offering in the buffet spread. So I shrugged my shoulders and continued eating my meal

Finally I noticed the writing on the wall, which explained the menu and how to build a bowl, and I felt so annoyed with the counter staff. If I was shown that wall, I would have been able to make a more informed decision about creating my bowl. I also realised that there were many salad toppings just not on display at the buffet.

Finally the dining room was filthy. I counted 8 people working, and with no more than 8 customers in the restaurant, I could not understandd why the floor and tables were covered in food scraps. A but of music coming from the speakers would have also been a nice touch. I think the counter staff here need customer service training asap, and maybe they should invest in trays/ plates for...

Rude, arrogant, and ignorant poor customer service and inconsistent food quality.

Inconsiderate to their customers who haven’t paid for their food yet. How are you not going to allow someone in an emergency to use the restroom? And to ask a manager. The owners need to change that policy. This isn’t a war and not a charity but it is minimum human decency. Also the level of sexism and preferential treatment towards women and children I also don’t think is cool. Men are probably the majority demographic even paying to eat there, but I guess we’re just bullet bags at war, huh? Close to banning and boycotting Dig inn. They have a bunch of children working there anyways who will probably accidentally food poison you. And I get it there are a lot of savage people who dirty things and don’t pay a penny to Dig so you want to filter them out but if the person promises to buy and is a recurring customer, come on now. Also not to mention the delivery guys who also slave for them and Dig really doesn’t allow them to use the bathroom?!?! How disrespectful! Thank goodness I stopped delivering Uber eats. To be treated like a leopard when just looking for welcoming. It’s cruel. I look forward to when my dollars won’t go to these...

To whom this may concern:

Do not waste your money!!! The Hispanic Manager is extremely rude and unprofessional and needs to learn hospitality. Honestly felt like I was dealing with a disgruntled fast food employee. He is tarnishing the Dig Inn brand.

I went to him stating that the sheet carrots tasted soapy. Instead of simply asking me to pick another side, he began talking down to me and saying that everyone said they taste fine. Not to mention that he dug his bare finger, no gloves into the tray to try one.

Ive been to that location on a couple of occasions and prior to becoming manager, this person has always been extremely unpleasant. He doesn't greet customers and is very rude. Looks like he's there just to collect a paycheck and not be of service to customers.

I also noticed that he was having a 30 minute conversation with a friend and also gave a fellow Hispanic guy a free piece of fish and filled his bowl to the point where it was overflowing.

Guess you need to be a man and Hispanic to get good service.

Not sure how Dig Inn wishes to present itself as a brand but I was seriously disgusted wity my...
