Food was excellent, except they can use more people for service. They're nice enough but seems short staffed. We walked in and waited a bit for someone to acknowledge us, no one did, so we just took a seat at an empty table. The table still needed a wipe down. A young guy came with 1 menu for the 2 of us and wiped the table, we consented to it. He returned later with our waters. It took at least another 15 minutes till he came back to take our order. The table with the family who came in later than us got their order in first eith another server Angela. I was pregnant but I guess the other server Angela didnt see that. It was my friend's birthday, she wanted to try the filet mignon, but was told they ran out, she got the rib eye. She liked it and it looked presentable and cooked the way she liked it. I got the linguine with white sauce and scallops, it looked great and the amount of sauce was just right. They had some clam pieces in there too, which was a plus. and We shared a salad, relatively good sized, wished they have more variety of veggies in there besides just a few pieces of grape tomatoes and some cucumbers for a $10 dish. We asked for more dressing, which was some Sesame soy type. It was alright. My friend wanted a drink but there was no bartender the night before the 4th of July on duty. So the bar was closed, but beer is available. But my friend was more interested in a cocktail so we passed on that. When it came to dessert, they only had 1 choice since I guess it was almost time for closing. We got tiramisu. It still had frozen layer on top. Great food, great atmosphere, can definitely use more help. By the time we finished dinner it was around 10pm. Our waiter waited in front of me till signed my receipt with the tips. When we left, the place was empty, not even a...

Being in a hotel, they serve Cantonese dishes, and Americanized dishes. Tonight, we only tried the Cantonese dishes. The quality of the Chinese food is leagues above and beyond what you normally get in America and even in New York, and the quality holds up to the standards that a native would have for a Flushing restaurant. So if you're staying at the hotel because you're visiting from out of town, I'd implore you to check out some real and proper Cantonese dishes.
Particularly good was the Barramundi, which is fileted and has its bones deep fried and was served with a soy sauce with scallions and sesame oil that was very well done.
Chicken dish was delicious too and very juicy, which is impressive because I don't normally even like chicken.
Give this place a shot and try some Flushing-grade...
Read moreVisited on 12.18.23 - I strongly recommend against going to Dock for drinks. We arrived five minutes prior to official opening time and was told to leave until they are open. The beer we ordered (Asahi bottled) was four months out of date. The mixed drinks from the menu were weak and watered down. For context, they were measuring sparkling wine by the shot and filling the remainder of the glass with club soda. The bartenders were not attentive, nor were they familiar with their stock. They struggled to open the bottle of champagne (which we had to open for them) and even shake a mixed drink. When we asked if the drinks we ordered could be removed from our tab as we didn't finish or enjoy them they refused saying how they were making them how they...
