Domenick's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

This place is pretty nasty from the sticky tables to the food. First, the guy on the phone did not speak much english. The place had the ugliest decor I have ever seen. Not kidding it is so dated look at uploaded pictures. Also they have a pay bathroom which was so ghetto. I bought a groupon for a large pizza and was very disappointed. The pizza crust was all wrong it was what too Bready and had no flavor. The toppings were ok but the pizza did not have enough. The sauce was weird tasting and salty and cheese tasted really processed. However, my girlfriend thought the pizza was "borderline acceptable," thus they get 2 stars instead of 1 which was what I thought they deserve. This place really sucks.

As per the problem other yelpers had with the groupon, they are all true. They won't give you the toppings that the groupon advertises. Groupon suggested bacon and garlic, the guy at the counter said he didn't care what groupon said and denied me bacon on my pie. Suck. Also, they charge you tax and pocket the money they collect from you, that was strange. I will not be back.

I've had pizza from this place handful of times but mostly I was displeased with with the quality of their sauce. The sauce in their pizza taste rather cheap or out of a can. The last time I was there I order their "buffalo chicken pizza" I believe it's called and it's mostly a ton of chicken on a pizza so I thought it was nearly impossible to mess that up, but their chicken pieces were rather tough and chewy and the lackluster sauce added to my displeasure. At most I would say this pizzeria is subpar but that shouldn't stop you from going there, they have regular slices for 2 dollars and on weekends I believe they drop the price to $1.50 so it's not all bad just don't expect amazing pizza. I would say stop by for a slice if you're on the go, but there definitely are much better options...

So this person who works at the store thought he can be slick and get away with ripping me off. The pizza for large pie as you can see is $15.60 but I paid $19.16. I couldn’t figure out where the price came from.

This guy had the balls to say tax is included. So I did the math, $15.60 plus $1.51 is $17.11 but he rounded it off to $17.00 then I get hit With another tax lmao, Bringing up to $19.16. If any, it should be $15.60 plus tax = $17.11.

So, when I did the math with him and pointed out that the math was not mathing. He replied with a “SO?” Yeah, I’m not the one.

So be warned folks, make sure you tell this person to charge you 15.60 on the paper then add tax afterward, not before hand. I’m wondering how many people they have cheated out of. I won’t...
