I was there with my husband and 2 year old. We ordered rice beans and eggs with chorizo, the eggs tasted old, and the rice was dry, and the beans were disgusting. I told Andrea the girl at the counter my complaint. She said "well you should have told me before " my response was " before? I didn't eat anything the food made me nauseous. What do you mean before? She was so rude and nasty. This is the last time I come to this restaurant. Rude, no respect, how does the boss hire people that destroy his business? It takes so little to be kind. Also I was overcharged . I come there all the time. Never again . Any reasonable owner would apologize and offer a refund or a better experience. This owners reply just goes to show they donât care about their customers or business.. All comments and reviews are legit from family members and friends I have brought there. They too will never step foot into Nutripan ever again ! Nutripan you lost them as customers as well! This place wonât last long !! There are food critics and reviewers everywhere! Beware of your behavior and response! Exceptional service is everything! Being disrespectful and ripping off customers is a bad for business! My comment is not the only one that shows your employee- ladies are ripping customers off !!!! Disgusting! Stay away from this restaurant! Better safe and healthy then sorry and sick !!! All The food is out in the open collecting dust and germs. FDA should pay...
Read moreI used to be a regular customer at this place years ago and went back hoping to treat myself. I ordered at the counter, paid directly at the register, andâas alwaysâleft a tip in the container next to the cashier. But when I got home, I realized they also charged me an 18% automatic gratuity on the receipt, without saying anything.
Thatâs not personalized serviceâthatâs counter service, and in that model, tipping should be 100% optional.
If a server wants to charge mandatory gratuity, there should be full table service: bringing the menu to the table, taking the order personally, checking on the table, bringing the check, and processing payment at the table. None of that happened.
They just brought the food to the table, like any self-service or casual spot.
Thereâs no justification for adding mandatory tips as if it were a full-service restaurant. I felt misled and the lack of transparency left a bad taste. These kinds of practices push loyal customers away.
If youâre going to include gratuity at a counter-service place, the least you can do is inform the customer clearlyânot...
   Read moreInconsistent Experience Lately
I've been a loyal patron of this restaurant for some time now, but I must share my recent experiences. Lately, the dishes have been overly salty, detracting from the overall enjoyment. The delicate balance of flavors seems to be lost, making it difficult to savor the true essence of the ingredients.
Additionally, the lentil soup on Tuesdays and Thursdays has been consistently disappointing. After 4 pm, it transforms into a thick, almost dry consistency, lacking the hearty essence of a good soup and missing any discernible meat. It's crucial that the kitchen maintains the quality and essence of their dishes throughout the day.
I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively, as I truly appreciate the potential this place has to offer. Addressing these concerns would greatly enhance the overall dining experience and keep me coming back for the flavors I initially fell...
