So I went on to Domino's website to order a pizza, cheese bread, a 2L sprite and a chocolate cookie, $49.00 with their ADDITIONAL $5 Delivery charge they say isn't a tip and I should tip my driver for his "awesomeness." I went to pay for my order and asked me to sign up for their website, or purchase as a guest. After trying numerous times to proceed as a guest, I finally gave in and Filled out First,Last,Email and Phone number with the F word, phone number all 9's. Keep in mind it asked for my phone number for my order elsewhere as well as delivery instruction which I stated to just leave the food take the cash tip in the door. So 40 minutes after my pizza tracked says my pizza left, and I am literally a 4 min drive from their location. I was curious so I called, waited 7 minutes on hold, hung up called again 2 minutes and I got a human. I explained the situation, they told me they had come to my location and saw that I had put the information mentioned above, despite it asking for my phone number elsewhere. They decided since my number wasn't there and email was fake that they weren't going to deliver my food. They asked why I put that in and I explained I didn't want to sign up and it had asked for my number anyway. I asked them to deliver my food. They put me on hold, picked up surprised I was still there and then I was told they aren't coming back out to my address.
EDIT - I also want to mention that when I called to find out, I was asked why I would enter that like I was a child. When I explained that I was just bypassing Dominos sign up. Was told again that the number was wrong, why the local store would be seeing the information that I was using for their create and account and not the information I entered. But just rude and argumentive that it was my fault for doing so. After reading the other reviews I'm glad it didn't come anyway, The only reason I ordered was my daughter wanted cheese bread. And the best is that after I called they told me they we gonna cancel the order...so despite the card processed they didn't cancel the order until I called? Hopefully they...
Read moreWhen someone rates a place poorly , it is for a reason. I live in the resident's building next to the hospital . An hour ago , I placed an order for a pizza,some wings and a small coke. While placing the order, explicitly mentioned to get the order to the resident's building , gave the address, requested to throw some cheese and red peppers . Made the guy reiterate my order to affirm. Alls good and I was told to expect a delivery in 30-35 minutes.
57 minutes later, Mr Wonderful calls.. I am at the hospital lobby- strike 1: after specifically giving directions , how does one manage to be a) late and b) not go to the right place? Reason, oh I did not know (no apologies)
Anyways, wait another 10 minutes and Mr . Wonderful calls ... I am at the gate and as my car cannot get passed the gate can you walk towards the gate out of your building (tone: this is not a request but an order) . Ok I walk to get my order: wings and pizza two separate box not even in a plastic bag and to top it off... Mr . Wonderful tells me- Oh I think I forgot the Coke bottle at the lobby where I was waiting for you (tone: I am doing you a favor). Check this out: Can you come with me to the hospital to pick up your bottle? SERIOUSLY??
Moving on, goes and gets the bottle and it gets better: where is the packet of Parmesan cheese and peppers: OH WE DONT SELL THOSE? Now what should be my reply? After an 18 hour shift in the hospital , all I expected was to get some food and sleep to wake up in 5 hours to go back to work.
Does NOT end here: The wings are super burnt , OLD and dry. Pizza is stale and dry. I have a picture for objective evidence, wish I could upload.
To the EMPLOYER of this franchise: Being the smart person that you are, I hope you realize that you do not have a good team and with the other reviews, your business is suffering. I added the two toppings I wanted and the app kept trying to charge me $0.65 for some reason even though it was only 2 toppings. I called first the person told me to try again then he hung up. I tried myself a few more times before going directly to the store. At the store the assistant manager essentially told me he couldn't help me since it was online when all I was asking him was to accommodate me for the second topping that was charging me extra for no reason. We went back and forth for 20 minutes before he told me to just put the order through as one topping and I'll add the other for you. This is what I was explaining from the beginning for him to do but it seems like we had a language barrier and he did not understand. The coupon issue isn't his fault at all, the customer service and how he handled the issue was 100% his fault.
