Worst Guacamole I ever tasted!!! It’s so bad I couldn’t eat more than 2 chip scoops of it. Even the color was unappealing and once at the first taste I could tell frozen avocado was used. Absolutely horrid taste. Very disappointed I was almost compelled to go back to ask for a refund. Granted I usually make my own fresh guacamole almost everyday but I have had good guac at several places on the island with La plaza Mexican deli being the best and for a bout 25 cents more La Plaza gives a more generous serving of far superior quality. *Mariachi guac circled in blue

AMAZING!! We ordered a little bit of everything just to taste test and was not dissatisfied. We had the horchata, the guacamole was an explosion of flavor, the shrimp ceviche was chefs kiss, and the birria tacos just topping it all off. Price is a bit up there but it’s worth every penny. 10/10 recommend this place and this will be our new place to eat.

Came on Thursday: Had the ceviche and was on point ..! Only a three cause I have to return to see consistency.... The staff very attentive and accommodated the tv selection... I believe if Friday or Saturday the attention may be different... Will return

Very meh and at this price point SO not worth it. We were the Only people there. Waitress seemed distracted and kind of apathetic. Decor really needs help. One side of the room has beautiful lit up murals, a dark night clubby atmosphere. The other side has beach peach and lemon w too much while light. Ugly. Not inviting. Atmosphere really matters at this price point. Make the whole room nightcluby then with interesting music, not the utube mainstream videos. I don’t get what the owner is thinking. Look at your competitor and do Better. Sophia’s is beyond better. The guacamole was minimal portion. Filling for tacos tasty but minimal. $30 for fajitas and you could count the beans that came w the rice. The meat got cold pronto. Beans are cheap but I guess so is the owner?. We want this place to succeed cause we live down here but I could not in good faith recommend to anyone. Go to Sophia’s for better quality and prices. I have to say it’s great that they have ceviche . We don’t have much of that on SI. I’d like to back to that but the decor issues very distracting. I was breathing in failure. When your the only customers in a restaurant I think u have right to expect more attention and better portions. No chips to the table. You have to buy w a little blob of guacamole .Bartender came over to give a napkin but a free shot would have...

Came for dinner with my husband on a Friday. The restaurant was fairly busy but it looked like they were well staffed. It took awhile for someone to notice us by the door to seat us and took our waitress awhile to take our orders. Our drinks took at least 20 minutes to arrive. We weren’t even offered any water. The food took even longer. One entree came before our apps even got there. The rest of the food took awhile to arrive. The waitress never checked on us other than to apologize for the delay of my food as she was passing. I couldn’t even get her attention to order a second drink as I waited nearly an hour for my food. Even getting the check to get out of there was a long wait. If you want to wait long for bad service and mediocre food, this is your place. I don’t know how so many people have left such positive reviews leading me to try this place. It was an awful experience and I will not...
