The restaurant isn't fit for the 21st century. While the décor is nice the staff is inattentive and the food is terrible.
The waitress took too long to approach my table to serve us water. And about five minutes in she asked us if we were ready to order, even though she hadn't given us our menus yet!
The steak I was served was raw and out of hundreds of meals I've ordered in my life it was the first I've ever sent back. It took me over half an hour to get somebody's attention, it seemed to me most the staff was sitting at the bar drinking with the owner and taking selfies. Luckily, once I got their attention, the staff happily gave me the opportunity to order something else off the menu and I got the fried chicken which had a visible film of grease on it -- but unlike the steak it was edible. The meatloaf was also very bland and was drowning in gravy.
I don't recommend anybody every coming here. Especially anybody who is younger than...

So when my $40 filet came out I was expecting perfection. Little did I know my hopes were about to be shattered and my taste buds disappointed. The steak was bland with no flavor whatsoever. Ordered a refill, it was sitting on the end of the bar for quite a long time (at least 15 minutes) as our waitress walked by it and us multiple times. I asked the waitress to split the check because we were all buying our own food and I received a disgusting look and an attitude with her response. We received our checks and were charged full price for each refill we asked for, you know the one that was on the end of the bar for at least 15 minutes. I would not go back to this restaurant and do not recommend it. It’s not...
Read moreA blast from the past! Calamari was like a Greek church festival. The atmosphere was great. I felt like I was on a movie set from the 1950s! The service was fantastic!!! The bartender had to be older than myself, and I am 63. He was multitasking like you can't believe. He needed rollerskates. He handled the bar like a champ with food drinks etc. If you want a slice of old New York, this is the place. Traditional Irish Americana. American demographics are changing. The boomers are being replaced by a much smaller group of Gen Xers. It's going to take two of them, maybe three. to replace...
