Central Presbyterian Church — Attraction in New York

I'm writing this review out of pure joy! I'm not a member of a religious institution, so I didn't know what to expect.

Yesterday, I went to a New Year's Eve sermon led by Abhishikth Babu and Chris Hildebrand. The experience was magical. This place is the Disney World of churches (in the best possible way). From the beautiful architecture and the Christmas decorations to the angelic voices of the singers/choir (led by the fabulous, Erica) to the thoughtful and inspirational pastors.

The message I received here was clear -- you are welcomed with open arms, regardless of your religion, and we will put our hearts and souls into creating a familial and uplifting experience for all.

Pastor Jason Harris stands out as one of the most authentic, compelling, and well-researched public speakers and theologians of our time.

His sermon series on the Sermon on the Mount is an extraordinary achievement. This series deserves every accolade it could possibly receive and has already inspired open-minded atheists and agnostics to become devout Christians—which I’m sure is enough for Jason.

This has been my church home for the last 6 years and it’s beautiful and remarkable to be part of a strong community of faith in Jesus Christ. I have never been part of a church like Central, where the gospel is not just preached but lived with such vibrancy, hope, love, and joy. I am so grateful for my church.
