🚨🚨CAUTION!!! Small metal scraps found in sushi from this place! (steel wool)!!!
I rarely leave negative reviews unless it could potentially help people to prevent them from a bad experience or harm. This is the first time this has ever happened to me and I eat sushi all the time.
I ordered a spicy salmon roll and other things from Dragon sushi and as I was biting into a piece I felt something sharp in my mouth. Thinking it was just a small fish bone, I pulled it out of my mouth to see a piece of metal!!! After my friend and I looked at it closely we confirmed that it was steel wool. I was absolutely disgusted and furious that I almost swallowed that.
Restaurants using steel wool to clean in kitchen & food preparation areas in NYC are a health code violation, because it breaks apart easily and can get into food! The thought of something that was being used to clean dirty areas getting into my food is absolutely sickening and I am so disappointed.
I called the restaurant and asked for a refund and explained what happened and they refunded me the next day but I had to pick it up in person because they could only give it in cash. They did not apologize or seem remorseful at all.

When I told him to give me my package please 'cause I have to go, he looked at me very agressively, gave me such a rude, aggressive and tactless answer that how I did I dare bother him, he was on phone and told me I had to continue waiting him, he could just give me my order and then continue his bussines easily, it would take 2sec, but he prefered assault me that way, thank God I am very calm and polite person and I don't like to escalate the situation, I was ashamed instead of him, such people should not be employed in the service sector, especially mentally unbalanced people should not have relations with customers. Read moreExtremely bad service, mediocre quality- not worth the avrage price. We ordered 6 rolls, 2 soups and 2 salads and grilled chicken. We called after 10 minutes and asked to pick up as we didn't wish to wait. The girl said it was already on its way. We were surprised it was ready and out in such a short time but said fine we will wait. We live 3 blocks from them. After that we waited for over 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. BUT The worse part was that the phone girl was arguing with my wife instead of deal with the situation with the delivery. In some point we just asked for a refund and she just kept on arguing and asked to check the front door again and again (we live in a doorman building). We were on the phone with them twice for 15 minutes. Eventually as we were on the phone for the second time the food arrived: an oily bag of cold soups and mediocre Sushi.
