I always like to give places a chance but this place must be the worst Dunkin Donuts in the Bronx. Each time I've gone there the customer service is worst. Went there recently this past Saturday morning and I really thought i was on candid camera, the young lady at register dark skin female with long hair was on a personal phone call with the ear piece hiding under her hair. Talking loud. When I went to the register to give my order I was competing with the person she was on the phone with. Finally she takes the order then forgets about making it ( Two hot teas) 15 mins later no lying I see that someone who just walks in and orders gets his order before I did. I bring it to there attention, a male who I think was the manager and doesn't do anything about it. I think he was scared to tell her about her being on a personal conversation while taking orders. She was so obvious and spoke loud. Then I notice she's preparing food with our a face covering saying that she did have it on Lol! it was under her chin. Read moreThe iced coffee is terrible. Tastes like sugar water. But I do not think Dunkin donuts has an extensive training process, which cannot be blamed on any worker. However, I have had great iced coffee in other dunkin donuts establishments and Dunkin Donuts coffee has become my coffee of choice when I am out and about.
I am sad to say that the dunkin donuts in the Bartow Mall has gone down substantially over the years. Prices have gone up and customer service has gone down. I have had lack luster coffee as I am sure happens sometimes, but this is the norm now in the establishment. I have given it too many tries. I never have had an issue personally with a worker, however, I have witnessed several issues over the past couple of months. Perhaps it is the new staff? Update: I was charged twice for a latte. I used 900 points and I was charged $4.34. I reached out to DD customer service twice via email. Every response was just a means to run me around. I received an email with an 800 number to get assistance with this matter. I called and was put on hold 3times. Finally I was told the $4.34 would be refunded to my debit card. I got a call back moments later to inform me the matter will be bounced back to the store where the overcharge occurred. DD must be suffering from the boycott. If this is the case I'm glad.
