If I could I would give 0 stars for this location. I was so disgusted with the service provided last time I was there, I promised to never go back. I had two occasions where the same employee was rude, the first incident I had made a purchase to buy a small iced decaf caramel latte. I gave my order and I made sure to tell the same lady that my drink is decaf, she said yes and began saying something to her other employees in their language while laughing and looking at me, how obvious is that? I found that to be very unprofessional, and I had to reiterate my order due to the other times I would not get decaf or the sizing was not right but the last time this same employee managed by Mihil Paul decided to roll her eyes when I couldn’t hear her asking me a question about my order by speaking from across the store at the Baskin-Robbins section. I had ordered ice cream for my daughter and coffee for myself but in this location they have the Dunkin’ Donuts side to take orders and there’s another register by the Baskin-Robbins section that is never in use. I have been here before to order just ice cream and that register was still not used and one of the employees would run or yell out to the other employee the order. What can help this location is communication amongst all Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins employees and also showing some sort of professionalism to its customers. Also have the employees call out the order number instead of what the order contains; any other customer could be ordering the same thing.
I witnessed an occasion where another customer placed an order but her card was declined. She told the employee to cancel the order but he kept it open while the line was going and still made her order. He then brings it to the counter and tells the lady what she owes. She said I told you to cancel, my card is declined. I offered to help her pay but she kindly declined. After she leaves he was infuriated and was ranting about her not paying. Another customer and I agreed that we don’t know what is going on at the moment financially, sometimes the money is in the account but something needs to clear off from the bank or they may freeze the card for security purposes if many purchases are made in a day. The possibilities are endless. She was not a disrespectful lady, and she was with her daughter, she thought she was prepared. That can happen to any of us. But the disgust of these employees serving their customers. The location should not hold all consumers liable for everyone else’s way of life. Yes there’s a lot of homelessness and drug abuse in the area but there are also family and schools around the area that work or live in the community. The perception that the environment makes everyone the same is not right.
Dunkin Donuts I hope the review section is taken to consideration and not a waste of time to those who actually want to voice their opinions on either good or bad experiences. You profit from your consumers the least you can do is care about your customers as they help you...
Read moreThere's this new girl that messes up my coffee everytime I go. The last time she gave me a cup of coffee that had spilled half way then refilled it with a little more coffee then gave me it with spill stains all over the cup. Today she chose to talk to her other coworker about me in Bengali Like I Had No Idea The Moment They Both Saw I Was Paying Attention They Went Silent. Very Disrespectful Not Only Have Ive Been Buying My Coffee There For 12 years now. I refuse to spend any of my money in this location thinking they could just give me whatever they want vs what u requested without them having a fit for the money u spending on their service. I will be going every where else but there. Fyi there's always homeless people there who stay there all night and all morning always Harassing...
Read moreI bought some iced tea about an hour before then I came back about 1 hr later and asked for a cup of iced water. The older man, I’d assume he’s the lead or manager, refused. I told him I was there 1 hour before and had purchased something and he still didn’t believe me or even care. I raised my voice a little and he called me an a-hole for interrupting what he was doing. Yes calling a customer an A-hole in front of other customers. I HOPE HE READS THIS- He should be ASHAMED of how he treats people with automatic hostility. I know it’s east harlem and rough but it’s no excuse to be so nasty to people. I won’t return to his dumpy ...
