El Capitan — Restaurant in New York

My review is not of the restaurant, but a take-out meal of fried shrimp and fries I was treated to by my niece today, November first, twenty twenty four. Upon receiving my meal, everything was noticeably hot, which is good considering I live a few blocks away from the establishment. The first thing I noticed when I was handed three condiment cups, one with ketchup and two containing tartar sauce, was the fluidness of the tartar sauce. Normally tartar sauce has a thick consistency, these seemed as though they were whisked too much if made at the restaurant, or thinned by adding water if not. The shrimp while perfectly fried and cooked had bo flavor, condiments should not be required for a meal to have flavor. The fries seem to be Frozen fries that were not properly thawed before being put into a deep fryer. In other words, they were soggy and partially done.
