We absolutely loved our visit to El Mexicano Restaurant & Cafe Inc.—this spot delivers the kind of authentic Mexican food that is hard to beat!

We ordered the birria tacos and birria quesadillas, and both were flavorful. The tacos were perfectly crisped and generously filled with tender, juicy beef, topped with fresh onions and cilantro. Dipping them into the rich, savory consommé took the experience to another level. The quesadillas were equally delicious—cheesy, meaty, and nicely toasted, making each bite super satisfying.

To drink, we had agua de horchata and agua de tamarindo, served in beautiful, hand-painted clay mugs. Not only were they super refreshing, but the presentation added a lovely, traditional touch to the meal.

The ambiance was cozy and casual, with rustic wooden tables and colorful decor. Everything was clean and well-kept, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish.
