I moved to Hong Kong recently and was just back in NY for a visit. Popped by to say hi to Yuko, not for a haircut since I didn't have time. Immediately, Yuko looked at my hair and took out her scissors to cut the "uneven" bits. (I had gone to another hairdresser in HK since I was away without a haircut for over 6 months already.) This is a hidden gem -- wonderful, warm and welcoming. We brought our five-year-old here after he got a disappointing haircut somewhere else. Kenta was extremely attentive and patient, and very thoughtful about how he approached the haircut. He asked questions throughout and made sure we were happy with the cut as he finished it. The hairstylist was nice; however, the haircut turned out really bad. She styled my hair nicely after the cut, so I couldn’t tell whether it was good or bad at the time. But after one wash, my hair had no shape or layers, and the ends were very chunky.
