El Rey V Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

Please pay attention to the prices!!!!! I just left out of there with no food. I ordered a small plate of yellow rice and rotisserie chicken. Keep mind i asked for a little bit of rice. I ordered a pepsi as well. When i get to the register the cashier tells me my total was $10!!! I asked for a breakdown. She proceeds to say the small plate of food was $6 & the pepsi (a 20 oz) was $2. I asked so why $10? She said tax. I said no way so put the pepsi back. I figured i will get one from the store. Then she says my total was $8. How ms? So she still was charging me $2 for tax. A gentleman behind the counter walks up to her and begins speaking to her in spanish about the situation without saying anything to me he proceeds to take food out the bag, which is fine because at this point i dont want it. I stood there did the math and the tax was .54 cents but she stood by her...

I’ve gotten food from here quite a few times, usually the same thing and it’s good. This morning I got two chicken empanadas and came home to eat it. My first bite, there was something hard in my mouth, and when I took it out, it was a piece of bone. Not wanting to ruin my first meal of the day I took a few more bites, hoping it was a one time thing, but instead found two more pieces of bone. I didn’t finish the first one and definitely didn’t start the second one. I called the store to let them know since I couldn’t go back in and the woman said “oh I’m so sorry.” Yeah, I’m sorry I could’ve cracked a tooth or choked...

Some of the workers are friendly.......the older man ( I think he runs the place) is sometimee. Some times he's nice annnnnnnnnnd sometimes he has a hurry up and order attitude.

The food is good, however after my experience today 11.7.15 I probably won't be returning. His attitude (the old man/owner) today was bad enough to make me say EFF YOU COLLADO! He changed the price of my food 3x's & then got upset when I questioned it....he said & I quote "you should save ur money & bring your lunch to work"!

Well I'll be DAMNED! I wish I could........ I'm voting for...
