Family Pizza — Restaurant in New York

This place is robbing people. The prices on the menu are not the real price! My wife and I went in and ordered 12 mozzarella sticks, menu says $8.99 for 6 and $14.99 for 12. We also got 2 cheese slice, they cost $3.25 each. When we went to pay the total came to $32. That’s $10 more than what the menu prices said. I was then told their register has different prices than the menu. In the register 6 mozz sticks are $11 so they charged that twice and then 12 mozzarella sticks were $22. When the girl called the owner to ask what to do she was told that there is a disclaimer on the menu that says prices are subject to change without notice! I'm going to say this last Friday night we ordered a pizza, the pizza had a half of a roach baked into it.

When we called to inform them they didn't believe us, after I finished throwing up because I'm sure I hate half of a bug when we brought the pie and the insect back to the restaurant they we're not concerned, or apologetic it was jarring.

I've known of this pizza store since I was a kid and growing up in the neighborhood and have always vouched for it because I believe in making sure old institutions keep going but Gino's is right...

Best NY style pizza in the area. Really well done and affordable. I think they hit the right consistency of the crust in terms of how thick and crunch/chewy it is. It was definitely one of the few pizzas I've had in a while where I was looking forward to eating the crust after eating the slice. Highly recommended.

Edit: I took off one star after some thought on the price. At 15.50 for a pepperoni, it's definitely on the higher end of takeout pizza. Mike's Pizza, by contrast, is a block away and cheaper. Taste is still great, but something...
