Fine Time — Restaurant in New York

The girls who work there are soooooooo rude. There’s one girl who’s short smokes cigarettes every 5 minutes, she’s always rude and coughing everywhere. She’s probably been coughing and sick for like the past 6 months, always wiping her snot with her wrist then back to making drinks. Then there’s one girl on the chubbier side, all she does is talk to her friends, she never pays attention, she’s always eating behind the bar instead of making everyone their drinks and that’s why when she works it’s always busy for no reason, just a line of people waiting to be served and she’s just laughing her head off with one patron. Then there’s another girl I don’t think she bartenders but maybe she manages(?), she just sits there by the bar and looks at people up and down, never acknowledges anyone unless it’s her friend.

The pool table is stupid and the surrounding little tables are dumb as hell. If someone is playing pool they’re in your way of your table and your “in the way” of their game. They NEVER clean the place, maybe every 2 weeks at most, I always have to wipe down our tables bc it’s full of sticky cup rings. I’ve gotten sick three times coming here, once was covid bc this place is full of people who cough around and touch things. Oh and a few weeks ago they didn’t have any hand soap in any of the bathroom for a few days, that’s very telling bc then are the bartenders really washing their hands before making drinks.

I think the cherry on top was a few weeks ago when a girl was sitting at the bar and literally coughing all over the part of the bar where the chubby girl would make drinks. So as she’s making drinks, they’re getting contaminated with someone’s germs, I don’t know how brainless the bartender could be to keep making drinks infront of someone sick like that. Decent prices but a whole health...

I liked the place. But the staff is incredibly unprofessional. First of all, the guy at the register has an attitude... After I left the place I realized they charged me twice. I called them a bunch of times to resolve my issue and they just told me they couldn't help me and that I had to email the manager Cassie. I did it and never heard back. I called back again and asked to talk to her. They said "just a second," and then they said "she is not here..." As i was telling the person on the phone my struggles trying to contact the manager, the girl just hanged up on me...Such a simple matter...now I have to go to my bank and dispute the charge...Nice place, terrible afternoon stuff and no signs from the manager yet...If you ever have an issue at Fine...

Fine Time is just that, a fine time! It’s definitely the definition of a dive bar but if you’re looking for a place to chill or hang with friends this is the place.

They have a great back year that is a pretty decent size, cheap drafts and fun cocktails, as well as free hot dogs and popcorn.

One of the bartenders there, she has this two tone hair (like rouge from x-men) is such a pleasure. I always strike up a fun and interesting conversation with her and I’ve stayed late to see her handle big groups like a champ!

I’ve met some of my closest friends at this bar, from their trivia nights to drag bingos. It is dirty and sticky in places, sure but again what...
