My ex brought me here because he practically lives here and wanted to introduce me to his home away from home and have me try Kratom for the first time. I was def nervous as I have a history of anxiety and don't touch any substances other than alcohol. I was, at first, skeptical. I think I had a secret garden with green? Does that sound right to anyone ? 😅 Anyway, I had no bad reaction whatsoever. I had a lovely time. The atmosphere here is so inviting. It's like being in someone's living room, but their very cool kinda psychedelic living room. People are playing D&D, knitting, doing work on their laptops, socializing, napping, eating food ( you can order in food from wherever here) escaping from their lives. Like this is the place. This is easily the best Kava bar in all of New York!! I come here all the time and the staff is soooo friendly and accommodating! They always give discounts to new customers and are excellent at explaining and recommending which kava or kratom beverages are best for you. The atmosphere here is impeccable they have a relaxing outdoor patio that occasionally has live music. I come here all the time and I can confidently say it's the best kava bar I've ever been to! Love this place and the kratom is amazing but the service is atrocious. The girl with the brown bob has an awful attitude . Every time she is bartending she is so unpleasant. Unfortunately, today she was quite rude from the start, which really soured the atmosphere. We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. After receiving such poor service, we decided not to tip, and instead of understanding, she belittled us. Also her dog being behind the counter is pretty nasty as that’s where all the drinks are being made.
