Fordham Fried Chicken & Seafood Inc. — Restaurant in New York

This is a little hole in the wall joint with a long counter area to eat at. But you're not coming here for the ambiance, you go here for some tasty fried fish.

It's a clean establishment with an A rating at the time of my review (the reason I went in), and the counter person was helpful. There is a mind boggling array of seafood combos, so take your time and look around at the walls. Whiting, shrimp, crabstick, on a sandwich or with fries - it's comfort food. You can even order certain items like by the piece if you're low on funds!

I enjoyed the fried crab sticks- crispy, with good flavor and not greasy at all. Surprisingly large pieces to boot, filled me up quickly. Overall a good place to swing by for a quick bite for one or two, or for takeout...

I bought a lunch meal that consisted of 4 Chicken Wings with Rice. The rice was okay, but the chicken wings were dry and tiny.

I am used to the owners/staff of the previous seafood and chicken place (Fordham Fried Chicken/Seafood on E. 188th Street). He retired and presumably sold the business. It was shut down and closed December 2022.

The food at this new establishment, Express Fordham Seafood, is bad at the moment. Hopefully, they learn how to better...

Food is usually cheap, affordable good spot. I guess since I always order the same thing but today i ordered whiting fish and it was not Fresh!! Has to spit out and throw away my meal! They were already closed so I was not able to go back and tell them or change. Double check ya fish it shouldn’t have no fishy smell or taste. Now I’m scared to get something very...
