short: delicious gelato but melts very fast

long: I was walking on 8th and heard the guy say he's giving free samples so I tasted both the pistachio and caramel. I was on my way to get onion rings at Wayback but this was too delicious. I had to go in and get more. I got the pistachio and caramel cookie. I was surprised to notice that it was already melting when the guy passed it to me. I had to put it down fast because I didn't want it melting on my hand. I was attempting to figure out why it was melting so fast. I've had gelato from a few fancy and popular places in the area over the years and never experienced this before. The place seems to be air conditioned. A staff member came over to the table and wiped off the big puddle of pistachio gelato. I asked him if it's supposed to melt so fast and he replied "yes" which left me thinking well I don't have time to solve this mystery now I have to inhale this before I have to start drinking it, which I ended up doing not long after. Delicious? Yes, will I go back? No, not until the fast melting situation...

Finally: I no longer have to take a plane to Italy for quality Gelato! The flavors are both classic & unique; for example, the Forest Fruits flavor has a pistachio base, in lieu of Vanilla - and it's absolutely delicous! I'd also recommend Dark Chocolate for the chocolate lovers out there; the server suggested adding raspberry to this, which I quite enjoyed. Also worth tasting: Dubai Chocolate, which is more of a milk chocolate gelato with a delightful pistachio wafer-like crunch to it. The service is excellent, as well - they're confident in their quality products, so they'll gladly encourage you taste as many flavors as you'd like before you commit. I never really liked Gelato but I needed an afternoon coffee and decided to go to this small business that just opened. I ordered a cappuccino but was curious about the "Dubai Chocolate Gelato" and asked about what the big deal was. The man helping me offered me a sample. I was hesitant because I didnt really like gelato but i took it and my brain just lit up with happiness. It was better than ice cream! He continued to give me samples of all the great flavors.
