Gino's Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

I was so happy and contented with this establishment, however their food and customer service has fallen below acceptable, I placed an order for delivery of spaghetti with clam sauce, what I received was spaghetti with a wiff of clam sauce, not even a tea spoon to lace or cover the spaghetti, so I of course called to express my thoughts of this less than expected dish and was told that was what left of the clam sauce and sent it to me like that, then reason changed to , it wasn't himself who prepared the dish, and to boot , they are only abiding my the owner's instructions, ok next day I have them an reprieve and placed an order for a beef patty and a couple of slices, here we go again with them sending me what they wish to and not what I asked for , only to again place a call to see the breakdown of communication, it's my fault because was the reply when asked if I wanted cheese, I can't eat dairy so why would I order cheese, so it's a serious matter when vendors no longer grant their customers what they pay for, you will take my money and be happy with what I please to serve and sell you, let alone we are still patronizing your establishment with extreme price hikes and the likes of your bad service and food, the poor service will serve you just when your register...

Dumbest group of people who don't know how to deliver food or condiments. I've dealt with this before ...and gave them more chances and tonight was the worst experience with them. They put GLOBS OF MELTED CHEESE on my pasta with meatballs...this after I request only a little bit of parm sprinkled on. I went back to resolve the issue. They start yelling at the deaf (and dumb) guy ... he remakes my order with three to four small meat balls "halves" way less than I had before. Then they forgot to add the knots. I called them again to see if the driver can just swing by a block away and they said no. P...o ... S. Good food all in all but the dumbest and some of the most unprofessional workers there. Owner, you need to do better in teaching these people respect for customers and not to put melted greasy cheese on dishes like pasta. I mean, c'mon..really? Update: I just read some of the other neg reviews....one about the guy touching his face/ears and then kneading dough. Will not ever visit...

Gino's is a regular stop when we feel like pizza. The corner always smells so good walking by when they are open - you know, that great homey whiff of herbed bread and olive oil 😉

Go-tos are the Sicilian/Grandma (perfectly chewy, occasionally a bit salty), Cheese and Pepperoni slices. So good, and 3 slices is enough for us to share. If you're really hungry you can have 2 or 3 slices alone. Also love their garlic knots, which some in a pack of 5.

The veggie and buffalo chicken pizzas and the calzones I found the base and crust a bit dry, but doesn't make much of a difference personally since we don't prefer them in...
