WHO IS THIS RUDE, IGNORANT & UNPROFESSIONAL GUY THAT MANS THE PIZZA AREA HERE!!
I wanted to share my horrible experience my family and I encountered with the rude guy that man’s the pizza station at Gloria Pizzaria next to Midway Theatres? We went in there to get pizza to go but didn’t want it in a box we wanted it in individual bags. For those that have little ones you can understand why (no fighting over a box lol and helps keep things clean in the car).
As we saw him putting the pizza in the box we reminded him we want a bag. That’s when he became completely irate and discriminatory. He began to slam open each bag on the counter (all the customers looked and stopped talking). He then looked at my husband and said, “I asked you 3 times!” Which my husband responded, “you did not ask me that. If you would have asked me I would have told you to put it in individual bags (total 4 slices). You asked me to stay or to go and I said to go, in bags! However, even if that’s the case what is your problem brother? Why are you acting like that? I’m here with my wife and kids buying pizza giving you business!”
He then proceeded to say, “yea I know your type I’m from East New York too.” My husband said, “excuse me (I started laughing like umm no we are actually from right here).”
That’s when I pulled on my husbands arm and said it’s not worth it hun, he’s a miserable human and wants to assure your day is the same as his!!
That’s when the guy really started ranting about he knows our type and that he’s from the hood too so whatever we want to do he’s okay with it. I WAS SPEECHLESS, FLABBERGASTED!!! The unprofessionalism, ignorance. We also noticed he has to have some kind of authority because no one in their right state of mind would treat their paying customers like that. The other workers there were shaking their head like wow he’s wrong but you can see in their face they did not dare say anything. I’m sure they also need their jobs.
My kids were hungry and we were in a rush we should not have purchased anything at that point but it was already charged on our card and honestly I just wanted to get out of there at that point.
However, people need to know about this monster manning the pizza station at Gloria Pizzeria next to Midway Theaters.
I was on other review sites reading people’s comments and seen several comments with other people that have also encountered this guy. Does anybody know the owner I would love to share this story with him I don’t think he’s aware of how this guy has been managing his business for years now.
OH AND THE SAME GUY RESPONDS TO ALL THE REVIEWS. JUST READ HIS 2nd grade immature response to...
Read moreI called to place an order for a small pizza and a soda for delivery since my coworkers recommended the place. The girl who took my order didn't get the address correct so I slowly repeated the address so my order can be delivered to the correct address. I asked for a can of Coke which wasn't available so they offered a 20 oz instead.. the total for both items were high...I asked the price of the items and the 20 oz soda was $3 .. with that price I can get a few liters at Walmart. I asked to remove the soda I was transferred to a man who appeared annoyed and impatient. I asked for the soda to be removed since the price of the soda was crazy. He didn't listen carefully and thought I had called him crazy. I told him if he listened I said the price of the Coke was crazy not him. He got upset and told me he didn't want my business and hanged up. Wow talk about being rude. I called again to speak to the owner and the same man who rudely refused to service me said he's the owner. I told my coworkers what happened and said never to order from them again among their personal view of the situation. I know I wasn't mean or rude just voiced my opinion of the price of a 20 oz soda...freedom of speech A civil right from the Constitution of the United States. Clearly the owner has some unresolved issues to attend or he shouldn't be in this kind...
Read moreAs a huge pizza lover, I wanted to try this place and see how it was. I've had a lot of good pizza in my day and my taste buds are pretty finely tuned. This pizza is average. If you're just looking for something to put in your stomach, this is your place. If you're looking for pizza that is filled with love, enthusiasm and flavors that awaken the senses, look elsewhere. The crust is crispy with a couple of tough spots. The sauce is just standard. It tastes like tomatoes...that's it. Nothing about the sauce stands out and I do feel that a pizza's sauce can set it apart from other pizzas. The cheese stretches which is nice, but that's all I can say about it. It's just there. I had a plain and a pepperoni slice. The pepperoni just tasted like a slab of meat. Pizza lovers out there know what a delight it is to bit into some good quality pepperoni. With this pizza, I couldn't tell it was pepperoni when I bit into it. It basically tasted like the cheese lol. It's like the goal here was to make a standard pizza, and they definitely accomplished that. Considering everything I just mentioned, the price is a bit steep. I can't imagine paying that much for that kind of pizza again. Overall, the vibe here is flat. The cashier had a pretty cheery attitude which was cool and I appreciate that. But it's not enough to make me want to invest in this...
