I recently dined at PokePlus, a delightful poke bowl restaurant that has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a healthy and satisfying meal. With its fantastic selection, variety of ingredients, and friendly staff, PokePlus is an excellent choice for both poke enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

One of the standout features of PokePlus is its extensive menu. With a wide array of fresh fish, vegetables, and toppings to choose from, the possibilities are virtually endless. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the fact that they cater to various dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan options.

The location of PokePlus is undeniably convenient, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or a casual dinner with friends. Situated in a bustling area of the city, it's surrounded by shops and other attractions, which adds to its appeal.

The spacious interior of the restaurant is another highlight, offering ample seating and a comfortable atmosphere for patrons to enjoy their meal. The design is clean and modern, reflecting the freshness of the ingredients used in their poke bowls.

The only area where I feel PokePlus could improve is the ambiance. The restaurant was notably quiet during my visit, which made it feel slightly less inviting. Adding some background music would greatly enhance the dining experience, creating a more relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

The staff at PokePlus were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my visit. They were more than willing to answer questions about the menu and offered suggestions based on my preferences. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made my experience all the more enjoyable.

In conclusion, PokePlus is a fantastic option for those seeking a fresh, healthy, and delicious meal. With its impressive selection, variety of ingredients, and exceptional staff, this poke bowl restaurant is a must-visit. While a touch of background music would elevate the overall ambiance, the quality of the food and the spacious, modern environment more than make up for this minor shortcoming. I highly recommend PokePlus and look forward to...

This is the best poke bowl I've ever had, these guys ACTUALLY do it right. I've eaten poke in Japan, I've eaten poke in Hawaii, and I will tell you why Pokeplus gets it, because most of NYC doesn't:

The fish and sauce are mixed separately to the toppings (not Chipotle-style) The rice stays nice and hot while the fish stays cool The rice is also high-quality. Yes it makes a big difference. Spicy options and sauces galore The bowls are pretty, for dine-in and take-out – you're probably not paying for that, but poke is the pride and joy of BEAUTIFUL Hawaii, it should be pretty. The most important part by FAR: the ingredients are CLEARLY FRESH, even their spicy tuna uses whole chunks of tuna (if your spicy tuna roll looks like paste, that means they are using old tuna because they grind it up and mix in the spiciness....and if they're cutting costs there, then you can guess the rest)

Poke is really hard and expensive to get right, and it's rare (especially in NYC) to get a gem like this that puts so much care into the bowls. Seriously, I've lived in the neighborhood for years and whoever else said "go to Kissfish" has no idea what they're talking about, probably ordered tofu over rice (please no offense vegans).

I also met Lee at the shop earlier this year, hard-working guy, hadn't opened a restaurant before and took a shot on this because the man loves poke, and it shows.

Anyway, I never write reviews but I saw some negative ones on here and wanted to set the record straight. But don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself and...

Poke offers a fresh, customizable take on Hawaiian poke bowls, and it's definitely a go-to for quick, healthy meals. The ingredients are always vibrant and flavorful—especially the tuna and salmon, which taste super fresh. Their wide variety of toppings (from seaweed salad to spicy mayo and crispy onions) makes it easy to build a bowl that’s both satisfying and unique every time.

Service is typically fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and modern, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Portion sizes are generous for the price, and they don’t skimp on protein.

If you’re a fan of sushi or just looking for a light, delicious lunch option, Pokework is a solid choice. Just be ready to get addicted to those sauces—they're...

I’m so happy Pokeplus opened close enough to work, my gym, and 15-20 minute ride from home. I’ve tried another poke spot on Austin Street and I wasn’t a fan and also had a stomach ache. There’s a lot of variety to choose from when building your own bowl and the staff gives a good & generous portion. It’s never crowded during the times I go which I like because I can enjoy my lunches peacefully. Staff is very nice and efficient. Clean space and great spot for a quick healthy fix.
