Gory's Place — Restaurant in New York

So let me start by saying- I am a big fan on reviews. I check every place before I eat at it. I saw only 21 reviews (all good), but I was still weary. Like, will this place be good. But let me tell you!

Josue (who takes the orders) is amazing. Super friendly. Pays attention to detail, which I loved! Arturo (the cook) made flavorful old school delicious breakfast. Not like those cheesy (new style /modern) nasty diners that try to be Authentic. I was raised out here and this is the best diner experience I have had in years!! Coffee was piping hot. Food steaming! Grill was super clean. Tables clean and shiny. Clean floor and windows. And the food came out so quickly! Also, they have two TVs on either side (1 playing NY 1 news) and another with Spanish cartoons on (Onivision) . Yet! They were low. Which made it a peaceful and pleasant ambiance. So! If you’re hesistatibg to come, don’t!! I’m a real foodie and a stickler for service and cleanliness. And they surpassed all of my expectations. Nice to see an authentic and good diner in the neighborhood again! ...

I wouldn’t say anything bad about their staff , those are Hard Working Top Notch Guys that do Miracles with Noisy and Unbelievable Customers , the food is Well made , Just don’t Go there if you don’t like people , you have to be very Very numb to noisy ambient and close to other people , cause they are busy , they are packed most breakfasts are Just full of chit chat all over the small place , if you are Strong enough you’ll have a good time with the food , leve them a tip and walk away, remember not everyone has to like you , but this place is good for the food Order pickup or delivery and...

Customer service 0/10, takes too long to deliver food and ALWAYS has an attitude when calling for delivery. Food is okay. Every time food is delivered, somehow they manage to forget something, they forget to put SYRUP when I order pancakes or French toast (I don’t have syrup) they forget utensils AND sometimes forget my side orders. When my food does come it always comes soggy. If you tell them that they forgot something you ordered, they catch an attitude with you and take it personal. 0/10...
