Greek Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

This place just opened up couple months ago and I checked the reviews on google maps and the pictures look good so went to try it out. There are two tables and about six additional seats by the wall. They have menu items listed on the TV screen so it’s easy to select your options. The price of bowls and pita sandwiches are $10 which is pretty good deal (it seems to be a promotional price for newly opened period). I got Spartan and Beef-Lamb Gyro for To-Go. When it comes to paying, I was told the higher total than I expected. They charged $10.40 for each when the price on the menu in the store and on the screen literally shows $10. The cashier claimed the prices were set in the system like that so he couldn’t do anything. I ended up paying but was very disappointed because this was not cool. If they do this to every customer which I’m sure some customers might not even check, it would not be fair and completely unacceptable. As for the food, the chicken and meat are awfully dry and hard to chew. Chicken seems to be old, overnighted and recooked which is very disappointing because I saw the fresh chicken cooking in the kitchen but I guess they didn’t give me that. Ok here we go again it’s like the owner of this establishment keeps trading business but stays with the same Mexican cooks, nothing against Mexicans but they had them cooking back when it was a Mexican grill and they sucked then it was a burger spot with the same cooks and it sucked now it’s a Greek kitchen with the same cooks! Everything tastes extremely bland as if it was frozen and take my word for it you won’t even see anything on the grill and the food comes out lightning speed as if it was microwaved. The meat has no flavor as if it had never been marinated just seasoned right before they cooked it they try and completely cover the souvlaki with dry oregano to try and cover the blandness of it I literally can make better souvlaki myself.

To reply to your ridiculous response the restaurant was OLE and the two cooks were present there and at the next failed restaurant Smokeys, now you look to fail once again! I got the family special like a month ago and it was really good. They severed a good amount I was very satisfied. The only thing is that i tried going back today and before going I checked what time they were going to close and it said at 10pm so I got there at 9:40 which is 20 minutes before closing but by the time I got there they were already closed and didn’t want to let me in. If you are closing your doors at 9:40pm then update the dam business hours and put it for the time you are closing your doors because I’m wasting my time to get to Greek kitchen just for them to...
