Not a horrible place to go, especially since they have happy hour (we didn’t make it). Calamari and Swiss burgers were good. Didn’t realize until we were nearly done with our burgers that they didn’t add mushrooms which I believe is included, but there was no point in letting them know.

Two main things I did not like: We asked for water and were given water bottles $2 each. did not offer tap or let us know that they only provide bottled water (every other restaurant lets you know) The waitress automatically charged us an 18% gratuity which is inappropriate in my opinion, it was only me and my partner. That’s something you’d expect from either a high-end restaurant or for a party of 4-5+ people. It felt really shady to just add tip, and we almost didn’t catch it so we would’ve added additional tip which maybe is why they do it. Who knows, but yeah. Also I normally do 20% so she kinda robbed herself but yeah, I wasn’t happy about her adding it herself.

Note: the receipt says “suggest gratuity” with the prices of 15/18/20% all based on the order total, so you’d have to go out of your way to let them know before they take your card! Otherwise they’ll charge you the 18% that they added themselves. Again, not a common thing, tip is usually added after they charge your card.

The food was overall good, the piña colada was good, my mojito did not taste...

I am utterly disappointed. I come from Virginia and was recommended this place to come and eat. I ordered and came to pick up my food but was shocked at what I was given. All eight of the burgers are burnt to the point where it tastes like coal. All EIGHT! Of course at this point I call the restaurant and the lady tells me that they would remake only two of the worst burnt. I asked what to do with the old two burgers and even offered to come and bring the burgers but was told to “throw them out.” I threw them out and was called a few minutes later saying that they could no longer remake the burgers. At this point I am furious, I have already thrown out the burgers and now I am not getting any compensation. I was told to “take them out” to take a picture. Lucky I had already taken photos. I will be attaching them below. They also kept hanging up on me when I tried to explain how unfair it was towards my family. Finally they gave me a number to text the pictures and I haven’t heard from them since. The way the handled this situation was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Safe to say I will not be...

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience! I used to frequent this place and loved it however with new ownership and new staff it is not the same. I made a 3pm reservation for my son's graduation lunch, doors were still looked until well after 3pm when entering the floor was a mess and someone started sweeping the mess from previous night while we were being seated. The appetizers were great! But that is pretty much it. All the steaks were hard and chewy don't get arepas because they were as hard as cement and couldn't be eaten. We didn't get out until 2 and a half hours later and that's cause we were waiting for food, that ls not including time to eat it since we didn't actually eat our entree. Over all it's sad to see what was once a great place go down the drain. PS if your looking for a place to hang and not eat much it's a...

The food was alright—neither exceptional nor terrible. However, I advise caution when settling the bill. It's important to scrutinize the receipt as they add a pre-tip charge. I've never encountered a New York restaurant that imposes a pre-tip of 15% on the receipt, especially for a party of three. This establishment is quite local, not located in Times Square. While I acknowledge that some restaurants apply pre-tips for larger groups, our party was only three people. It was my oversight, but I ended up tipping an extra $20.
