I went to Halima Indian Restaurant and tried the butter chicken, samosa, and basmati rice. The butter chicken was served hot with a rich, creamy sauce that had plenty of flavor without being too spicy. The samosas were perfectly crispy with a satisfying, spiced filling. The basmati rice was fluffy and just right to complement the butter chicken. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel warm and casual. Overall, it was a great meal that made me feel right at home.

Amazing lunch on a cold day. It was about $35 bucks total for two entrees, rice, naan, samosas, and two drinks. The food was so fresh, warm, delicious and you really feel like you are eating in someone’s home. Please give this new spot a try, you will love it!!

Although it is new to the neighborhood, Halima has quickly become a staple in my diet. While it is lovely that the prices are good (especially at lunch) for the portions you receive, the quality of the food is what has me excited to return here again and again. So far, I’ve tried the chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, and lamb korma, as well as a variety of appetizers, and every single dish has been delicious. Not only that, but the people working are always very friendly, and they are open late. I recommend this place to anyone in crown heights looking for an absolutely...

The samosa was just mash potatoes and seasoning in it, no veggies or anything else. The chicken tikki masala was terrible it was unbelievable sweet. The ras malai was like hard sponges in corn syrup. Worst ras malai I ever tried, I couldn't take more than one bite without having to spit it out and throw the rest out. The chicken biryani was mid. This is place is take out only and it looks like a dirty dump. There was just a hole in the wall where you can place your order and nothing else inside. Also it was pretty expensive like $60...
