Lazzaro Bowls is now Lazzaro Bagels. They seemingly keep reinventing themselves with a specialized concept. Their latest venture is to get into the bagel game. I decided to give them a try since I walk right by multiple times a week. Not bad overall. I got the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese (toasted). They don't have an extensive list of bagel options. For example, they didn't have an egg bagel. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone looking to try the quintessential NYC bagel as there are better options very nearby. But if you're looking for a solid bagel and no wait, this place will do the trick.

I like the whole exterior look of the place, the black and modern look. This made me take a look inside because I don't tend to pay any attention to pizza placing in the city. The pizza here looks great, but I went for the sandwiches for something new. The Lazzo, this sandwich is filled will a lot of Italian meats (Salami, Capicola, Mortadella) and Provolone. The sandwich is very good, but expect it to be salty because of the types of meat. It is something I would recommend but personally I will only buy this once for fun and to try something new. Great sandwich overall... Next time I must try the pizza!

This place caught my attention since I was looking for a good breakfast sandwich. I was not disappointed. My sandwich was freshly made with ham, eggs and cheese on a toasted bagel. I also had a berry smoothie which was thick and delicious. I was able to sit outside and enjoy the meal on the small tables out front. There were some great sandwiches ready to go so we also had one wrapped up to take with us since we were going on the Statue of Liberty tour and we knew we’d be out all day. I will definitely be back next time I’m in New York.

I have no images to share because I devoured the breakfast sandwich, coffee and anise biscotti too quickly and once I was midway through I didn’t care to share it’s visual splendor; I did care to share my experience.

Egg white, sharp provolone, mushroom and drizzled of salt where placed . The bread was soft and thick as a cloud and it surprisingly complimented the simplistic ingredients (Egg white, sharp provolone, mushroom and salt) that housed rich flavors. In honestly, I paused about 7 times trying to comprehend it’s so deliciousness.

Not to be obscene but this is the kind of meal you have after having and intimate night and or...
