Was hungry around the area and looking for a good meal. There was only one person inside working from server to cook. But he did not dissapoint. His hospitality was one of the best. Took great care of us. Took our order and asked us how spicy we want our dishes to be. The dishes came out at a very reasonable time. The samosa and garlic shrimp (appetizers) came out first. We did not expect the garlic shrimp to have so much flavor because it did only look like shrimp with Tomatoe sauce. But it could easily be one of the best dishes even as an appetizer. The meat samosa we order came with I believe is one lamb and one beef which we didn’t expect either. It came with a green and red sauce (tasted very fresh). Both samosas were very tender and great start to set up for our entree. Our lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan came out together. It was my first time ordering lamb curry since I always get either chicken tikka masala or butter chicken. This dish was the highlight. It had the perfect spice, flavor, and the amount of meat inside this dish and the chicken tikka masala for the price is phenomenal. You will not see another restaurant with this amazing value to flavor ratio. Chicken tikka masala was not too creamy and the chicken was tender. It is the perfect pairing for the rice and garlic naan. The garlic naan itself could be the main dish. It is crispy but also fluffy at the same time. Me and my wife were saying most pizza places cannot even achieve texture like this in NYC. For this to happen, not only the oven needs to be hot but also the surface. It was the best garlic naan we’ve had so far. We had to ask for another order and finished everything. We told our server this is the best Indian food we’ve ever had and he walked out with complimentary dessert. The kheer rice was absolutely amazing. You can definitely taste the cardamom but it’s not overpowering. A nice way to end our dinner. We were so confused, this place has 5 stars, opened just a month, impeccable service, amazing food, and complimentary dessert; are we at fine dining? We basically did all you can eat and it was under $100. Would be back very soon as this place will be in the back of our minds forever if not.

Wow, wow, wow! What an incredible experience at Indian Grill! My husband and I decided to come have our Friday night dinner here and it was incredible on so many levels. The service level we experienced was impeccable and the owner is a true gem, having just opened the restaurant two months ago. The mango lassi is the best one I’ve had in the country. We ordered one and he gave us a second one on the house for me to try it which I really appreciated. The pakora was delicious, just the right amount of crispiness. We ordered the lamb seeing kabab and the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan as our mains and both were on point! The chicken tikka masala really hit the spot for me personally! The food was also prepared in a healthy way and we felt full and satisfied yet not sluggish post meal. Definitely recommend this spot and it’s added now to our weekend dinner rotations! Thank you to the owners for a lovely experience!

The owner, Hussein, is extremely kind and has a heart for service! He is so passionate about serving healthy, traditional, Indian food to the New York City community. And this is very apparent in the food. I really enjoy the Mixed Pokora lamb tikka masala, and mango lassi. I will be back, highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with subtle Indian decor and soft music setting the perfect mood. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. We started with the samosas and chaat, both bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. For mains, the butter chicken was creamy and rich without being heavy, and the paneer tikka masala had just the right balance of spice. The garlic naan was fresh from the tandoor, soft with that perfect char, and the biryani was aromatic and layered with flavor. What truly stood out was the authenticity—every dish tasted like it came from a kitchen that cares deeply about tradition and quality. Even the chai at the end was spot on. If you're looking for an unforgettable Indian meal in Brooklyn, this place should be at the top of your list. Whether you're a fan of North Indian classics or more adventurous regional dishes, there's something here to delight every palate. Can’t wait to come back...
