Food was great!!. Pancakes great & that 1/2 and 1/2 (lemonade & iced tea) is EXCELLENT!! Update: 10/19/2024. I stopped ordering the plantains for a while because the person cooking them wasn’t straining them on tissue. Just placing them in a plastic container with a whole LOT of grease. I’m happy to say I had an order today & the plantains were perfect. They were NOT greasy like it was dipped in a vat of oil. Thank you die listening to your customers. Heart attacks are real!

I do not know WHYYYYY they let the 2 ladies answer the phone. THEY CAN NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!!!

It is EXTREMELY frustrating to tell them your order & they either don’t understand you or YOU don’t understand them!!

PLEASE GET PPL WHO SPEAK & UNDERSTAND ENGLISH BETTER THAN THOSE 2 ladies!! If you place an order over the phone you have to struggle to understand the 2 ladies that answer & guess what?…. They don’t understand you either unless you speak Spanish to them. I’m not fluent but luckily I do speak a little. That’s the ONLY way I’m able to get my order through.

If you have a business & the ppl who answer the phone can barely speak English to take your order, it gets very frustrating!!! They are nice but it sounds like they are speaking Spanish even when they speak English. I changed my review to 4 stars...

I just moved in the area, and went on google in search of a Spanish restaurant. Driving distance is 11 minutes so I payed no thought in thinking distance would be an issue. After asking for my address MULTIPLE TIMES, they still took my order and said they would deliver. I get 5 different phone calls from the delivery guy, oh it’s too far, what’s your address? Now I’m like how are you asking for my address, after I already provided it to the restaurant. Sure enough, 15 minutes later I get a phone call from the restaurant that the delivery guy said it was too far. It’s 29 minutes away on bike. So I asked her, why would you ask me for address multiple times and still take my order. She proceeds to repeat the same thing, it’s too far! I simply said okay and hung up. Super unprofessional and the whole interaction was pointless and could have simply been avoided had common...

This might be a perfectly decent place for a decent breakfast. But it's not a coffee shop: the coffee is dark, lukewarm water. No flavor at all. There's not much seating, so better for take out. I'm not much for eggs, so I thought I would order the shrimp & rice, and I had to ask for it several times in several ways before finally turning the sign around for the guy to realize I was asking for something they apparently had on special the day before. The current special was catfish and potato, which the guy said was "really good" -- but to my taste it was chewy and probably about 30% salt. Inedible.

On the plus side, it's cheap. I didn't waste a lot of money learning...
