The shop is gorgeous but don't let that fool you!
I don't know they keep hiring such nice baristas when management is AWFUL. They rush everyone out from tables or couches if they catch a whiff of a book. Don't do replacements for drinks, and have no sense of customer service.
The initial issue I posted this review for is as follows:
My friend ordered a drink but couldn't stomach. Please note that at this time the receipt did not say no refunds. I go to the barista to ask for a refund and assure her that we are willing to pay for a new drink, but that this first one was making my friend feel sick. She said she'd talk to the manager but looked visibly nervous to do so.
The manager came out to process the refund and I sent my friend back up with her card. They do the refund. Easy, breezy, beautiful, right?
Nope!
My friend tried to order a drink she's had before, something she has liked in the past, and the manager tells her, "I don't want your business."
And refused to serve her. Please note that at no point was anyone rude or disrespectful to the manager or the barista. On top of that we were recommending this place like crazy to our colleagues because the drinks are great and the atmosphere is gorgeous.
But them treating her like that because of a drink she realized she couldn't drink is unreal. And after reading the other one star reviews I realize that there is a trend here. They want a pretty store, they want people to come order drinks, they want people to promptly LEAVE, and they dont want to address customer concerns.
My friend posted her own review after the initial incident on yelp and the manager/staff reached out to her to make it right but when she went back they doubled down on how they still didn't want to serve her! Did you reach out as a simple formality or what?
Please don't go here unless you're there to get a drink and go. They do not care about customers having good experiences and don't care to let anyone enjoy the tables even when they buy a food item and a drink. And please don't you dare whip out a book or a laptop they will brow beat you about it and pull out a reserved sign with the utmost speed.

I went in and ordered a $9 ham, cheese, and avocado sandwich. They said they ran out of croissants and asked if I wanted sourdough bread instead. I said sure. I also got one iced americano and a bottle of water.
It wasnāt that busy in there, but I waited about 20 minutes for the sandwich. I was busy responding to work emails and messages, so I didnāt notice at first that the avocados, tomatoes, and lettuce were missing. I went back after eating half of it to let them know. The cashier in front apologized and said they would make me a new sandwich. I waited another 15 minutes and they brought out a plate with sliced avocados, lettuce and tomatoes. I had already eaten the rest of the first sandwich because they said I would get another one. I told the guy that the cashier told me I would get a new one. The cashier then came back and said they canāt get me a new sandwich because I already ate it and told me I could either take the plate or get a $2 refund. I eventually took the $2 refund and left.
I had put 30 minutes into my parking meter thinking that would be enough time to get the food and drinks. I came back to a $35 parking ticket because the meter ran because I was in the coffee shop for about 40 minutes waiting for my food.
Iām never going back again. I appreciate the $2 refund but this was not a good experience for me. Their coffee was okay and the food was overpriced for what I was getting. And the service...
