La Adelita De Woodside — Restaurant in New York

I wanted to give this restaurant a chance even THOUGH I read the bad reviews. But I saw that the owner kept apologizing so I had sympathy and ordered from them through Seamless… What a huge mistake🤬 The order was supposed to arrive the latest 12:55 pm. I called at 1:05 pm and the lady said the order would be there shortly. No one came. So I called again over and over for the next half hour and NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. I contacted Seamless and they refunded me. Finally the delivery arrived 1 hour late. What disgusting customer service. I wouldn’t be so angry if this was an isolated incident— I can understand sometimes things happen. But the fact that so many other people have the same complaint is UNACCEPTABLE. I have asked Seamless to remove them from their list of restaurants. I don’t know what will happen, but this is just sad. The man who delivered said he didn’t know he was 1 hour late- he just did what he was told to do…so…poor communication? Not sure...

Cynthia hope you read this bc You need to educate the lady at register Rebecca or get rid of her .She was extremely rude & lack of customer service skills.I will not patronize your rest ever again. I ordered the veg tacos , on the menu states $9.00 & the churros which menu list for $ 5.00.When I asked for the check I noticed i was charged 10.00 for tacos & 6.00 for churos .I bought it to he rude lady attention & she said thats the tax.No I was overcharged .So she reissued a new check still she overcharge me for the churros .Anyway long story short she gave me a hard time to give me back my money .Your brother did not do anything ..And she was all along saying in spanish that I was making a big l deal for a dollar !! I wonder how many ppl gets overcharged without realizing. Fix your register so you dont...

I’ve lived in Woodside, Queens for 25+ years and have passed La Adelita so many times but never dined or ordered take out from them. What a mistake. The most fresh and delicious Mexican food I’ve had had on this side of Queens. Elote con todo for $2.49?! You can’t even get it on the streets for that. Highly recommend the al pastor, elote, queso fundido with chorizo and even the rice and beans were breathtaking—just like moms! Also very exceptional customer service, delivery and overall experience. Next time I’ll order directly from them so they can avoid all the third party fees. Thanks Laura and everyone at La Adelita.
