I went there recently to get 2 chicken empanadas and i wait for 10 minutes for them and once im about to pay, the employee says that the limit for apple pay was 7 dollars… you couldn’t have told me that before you made my order?? Anyways the 2 empanadas were 4.76… since i only had apple pay i had to get more things to raise the total to 7 dollars, i see a slide of flan so i ask for the price and she said 4 dollars.. for 1 slice? That’s insane, in every other domi restaurant a flan is no more than 2 dollars and the slice was so small!! Now for the taste… the empanadas barely had any chicken and one still had 2 bones in it?? And the flan wasn’t good at all… as a dominican this was NOT good food. The syrup for the flan literally tasted like brown sugar with water. Definitely not coming again… but if you’re interested in getting some dominican food theres another restaurant called el viejo yayo near- bye and the food is...

Pulled up to this all-day Latin gem serving up Dominican staples, and it did not disappoint. I went for the Stew Beef with Moro de Habichuelas, with one perfectly caramelized Maduro on the side — talk about a combo that hits every note. 🇩🇴✨
To wash it all down? Nothing better than a classic Country Club Frambuesa, that bright Dominican raspberry soda. Sweet, bubbly, and just right.
Couldn’t resist grabbing some Dominican Chicharron with Tostones too, because let’s be honest — Dominican-style chicharron is undefeated. Crispy, juicy, perfection.
This spot is small, with limited seating, but the staff is super welcoming and the menu is loaded with options. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or taking your time, Libertad is a solid stop for some real-deal Dominican flavor.

Read moreI've lived down the block from this restaurant for over 10 years. In the beginning, I was excited since the food was pretty decent. Unfortunately, this establishment is extremely prejudice. The women that work there are only nice to their own kind. If you're not Hispanic, they are rude and act as if they don't want your business. I stopped going there, however if I really have no options for food, and since they are typically open late serving old, drunk men that they ARE extra nice to, I've had to ask other people to go and purchase the food for me who ARE Hispanic. To conclude, the women who work there have attitudes, are incredibly prejudice and unwelcoming, which in turn make the food not...
