La Cabaña Argentinian Steak House — Restaurant in New York

I give this restaurant an average of 3 simply because we went there. Three people and we wanted the parishata, and the waiter suggested that we order a salad, and he said, you could have a avocado where he failed to say was that avocado's not included in the salad. That was extra. And then at the same time, he also failed to tell us that the meat, the mixed meat comes with some intestines. And he was not clear about what's inside the intestines. It was disgusting The food overall was okay a little oily to my taste, and when we got the bill. We see a four percent credit card fee.And then at the bottom, you could pay cash, and they charge us extra for the avocado which they never mentioned.So we told whoever was there like, hey, we were not aware that the avocado was extra.He suggested for us to take the salad as an appetizer with avocado.And then we were surprised that they were charging a four percent credit card fee.So we pay cash, so either way.I was not too happy with the communication.And this is my last time I would go.So if you go there, make sure you pay cash.Because they will charge you a four percent which I believe That's illegal. And make sure you ask if that's included in whatever it is that you're ordering 43 people.We spend like two hundred and fifty dollars.I will never...

I have been going to this restaurant for many years since it was located in Junction Blvd and Roosevelt Avenue. I never had any issues with the service or the food. However, last month I invited my family to the restaurant and it was a disaster. I was so embarrassed. The service was horrible. We have been noticed that one of the staff member has become very rude. This staff member is tall, slim and he has been working for this restaurant for many years. He knows who he is. First he was rude and disrespectful because one of my family member asked him for salt. He was bother by the request and to show his discomfort, this staff told my family member that he didn't know how to cut meat and disnt know how yo use his utensils.This comment was completely unnecessary. One thing I don't tolerate about people is being disrespectful because we are a family that respect others specially those providing hospitality and service. Due to this reason, I will never go to this restaurant again. Honestly, I don't even like to write reviews because when I don't like a place, I simply don't go back but this issues I had to let people know. I hope no one receive this...

Came here to celebrate a birthday and the waiter was rude and just not pleasant at all in taking our order. I asked if the sauce was spicy and his ignorant response was “this ain’t a Mexican restaurant this is an Argentinian restaurant” meanwhile there dishes are Italian but ok and some restaurants do make there sauces spicy and depends where you go from my experience. I wanted a cake and the music and nothing happened I asked for the check and when they saw us about to leave they bring out a Jello and I was just pissed they forgot and have bad communication amor each other.
