La Lupita — Restaurant in New York

This is very much a mom and pop owned and run backery/restaurant. After a short conversation with the owner I learned this bakery/restaurant was opened as small business for the owner to support his kids and grandkids. You can even see him pick up his grand daughter after school on the regular.

The food is good especially since they make the Tortillas and bread in house. The sauces are also very constantly on point. The prices have gone up but still cheaper then any of the other local Mexican spots. I believe this is a very overlooked...

This used to be my spot honestly because the prices were reasonable and the service was great! I stopped eating here after I ate something bad that made me sick. Once I have an experience like that no matter where, I reframe from eating at that place.
