Pizza and sandwiches are everywhere. This place is basic, nothing special, just convenient to the workers and families of patients in the nearby hospital. AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE -FORGET ABOUT IT ! I think their nose is up their behinds because so much people come and go . However, customer service is the epitome of business. If the food is basic and their personality and service is amazing, it may bring me back for another basic dish or hopes of better experience. But when there is no attempt to satisfy customers or deal with problems that can arise in this field of work, it disgusts me. My coworker is Muslim and ordered a salad where they sprinkled bacon on it, and after receiving salad, she kindly asked if it could be replaced because she was Muslim and she couldn't eat bacon. Their response : READ THE MENU and hung up phone !!!!!!!!! A $5 salad ….wow…. After years of ordering there for work events….thats the treatment! Back to where their noses are stuck…… and while they’re sniffing themselves like their stuff don’t stink because of all the traffic through their restaurant , myself and coworkers will keep our money in our pockets for another pizzeria, like Gaetana’s, which is right around the corner and excellent in food and service ‘. Kudos to this impersonal, soggy-food...

It is the typical Brooklyn Pizzeria and authentic Italian- American. It is a couple of blocks from Maimonides hospital. There are outside tables in the warm weather. The inside has a coupe of full size booths, some tables in the middle and smaller booths against the wall. There is a refrigerator with the familiar soda, iced tea, and juices. I ordered a chicken parmigiana hero with lite sauce and a single slice to eat while I waited. The slice was good. Not great. It is a good example of NY pizza. The chicken parm hero was ok. The bread was the best part. Warm, soft and crunchy. The chicken and cheese were fresh. However the sauce had a the metal can taste which can happen. It is why I usually order lite tomato sauce.. they have many types of pizza slices and food options. All different types of pizza slices, beef patties, wraps. They also have garlic knots. The price was reasonable came to 17.50 for a slice, Snapple green tea and the hero. The biggest surprise was the religious material stuffed in the front of the bag with the food. This has never happened. Although understood their desire to pass on their beliefs, not needed....

Don't get me wrong, their food is good (considering there aren't many choices in this area). But, whatever happened to customer service? Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? Maybe it's too much to ask of a place that considers itself Essential, daily serving hundreds of tired nurses and doctors working in a hospital a few blocks away... maybe the owners do not care to try and make 1 customer happy, when they'll continue to serve thousands others... but when a woman asks to replace a salad that has ingredients she cannot consume due to her religion or personal beliefs or due to a health condition... BE A FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD PIZZERIA! instead, they chose to be rude and told her to read the menu! It's on the menu!

Well, the price of replacing 1 salad has cost them multiple customers who will now...

A reliable neighborhood pizzeria with noteworthy service and atmosphere. The staff is attentive and the dining space is well maintained, offering a welcoming spot for a casual meal. While the pizza doesn't quite reach extraordinary heights, it has its merits - particularly the well-crafted dough, which provides a solid foundation. The Margherita slice could benefit from bolder seasoning to enhance its flavors. The restaurant's convenient location makes it a practical choice for a quick bite, even if it may not warrant a special trip across town. $11 for two slices and a soda. Solid 3.5/5 for consistently decent execution and friendly service.

Life is short F….it up! Family, Flavor, Friends Was in New York for the weekend and the last few times we missed out on New York slice. Decided to go to this place as it was more of a local pizza shop rather than the touristy spot that everyone knows about . Traditional New York Italian slice good flavor crispy on the bottom And plenty of selection. Glad we stopped by here in the area. Give this a try.
