Alternate Staffing — Local services in New York

Alternate Staffing has been a God sent. I live out of State and I’m responsible for a relative in NY. For over a year I mailed in about 3 Medicaid applications with no response from 3 Medicaid offices. My relative has dementia and in need of home care which she couldn’t get because she didn’t have Medicaid. Her well-being and safety were at risk. I was referred to Alternate Staffing and when I was contacted they took control. They reassured me and took over. They assisted me in getting Medicaid approved, and they got home care approved. When I asked for additional hours they were by my side strongly advocating and they were approved. This is not only a business but caring individuals that have become an extended part of my family. On Tues Dec 4 a night shift aide stole my mother's social security number and date of birth and made my mother sign a paper that she doesn't understand. The next day i called Ora the coordinator and explain to her what happened and made excuses for the Aide and didn't believe my mother's words. I called the Malik the supervisor and explain to her what happened and she said she will write a report on the Aide and the Aide has to come in. The Aide name Aisha Jobe. I'm so glad I had the support of Alternate Staffing with the Pooled Trust for my dad. I received information at all times as they guided me with the process. When my dad was approved - this agency, especially Esther who is very familiar with the step by step procedure on how to receive services did an excellent job! The scheduling with nurses, etc, Esther, found us a great provider, following up with me at all times, via phone and email. I'm blessed to have had Esther by my side!
