Luke's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

Food is okay at best the place looks run down and beat only one person works there and they use the neighborhood kids to deliver not the ideal Pizzeria if you want a good Italian family meal and ordering food from there is usually problematic . this is an update to this review I will no longer be purchasing food out of this Pizzeria as I had a huge argument with the only employee that works there selling me an entire pie of pizza that looks like it's sat there for an entire day I called The Establishment asking how much was it for a medium sized Pie Pizza and how long would it take to deliver I was told it would be 35 minutes and then I then asked well if I walked over there to pick it up how long would it be I was told 15 minutes I said okay perfect put the order in I'm on my way to go pick up the pizza upon arriving to the pizzeria I noticed that the box was entirely cold the pizza was not hot at all it was cold to the touch the Cheese look like it wasn't even melted in fact it look like it was a day old Pizza I began arguing with the gentleman about the quality of the service he told me if I didn't like the way he cook the food to not purchase any food there anymore I would recommend that anyone reading these reviews think twice before believing what you're reading and check for yourself the quality of the service that you're getting for the type of money that you're paying just tell me a pizza that you say is going to be done in 15 minutes and when I arrive the pizza is cold to the touch and the cheese looks like it's not melted at all or it has completely dried from sitting there is a huge problem I highly recommend you guys find another location especially if you live in the Freeman area for pizza or Italian type food as this place is absolutely disgusting and their work ethics are completely through the floor why spend your hard-earned money in a place that doesn't value their customers or the quality of the food that they're selling you Bronx residents deserve better and just for a reminder of anybody's reading these particular reviews I will pay close attention to anybody this writing a review does not putting any real substance or body to the review it would seem to me either their employees of the business or they just close friends of the guy that works there cuz he's not the owner it's just the employee so I would pay close attention to anybody writing any...

I finally get why everyone raves about New York City Pizza. The crust was crunchy and the perfect thickness, thin but not too thin. The cheese was not super greasy which I was very afraid of in trying NYC style pizza, and there was only a little red sauce, creating the perfect pizza ingredient ratio! Inside was modest, a humble pizza eatery. You are paying great prices for a great pie and nothing more, nothing less. Roberto, the main restaurant attendant was friendly and greeted me, a stressed tourist, with a smile upon my entry, making me feel like I was one of his regulars. Highly recommend this Bronx...

This is a regular slice shop. A regular cheese slice is $3.50. A Sicilian slice is $4. The regular cheese was good. I like my crust a little crispier, but that's the only constructive feedback I have. The regular slice was better than the Sicilian, but I tend to like regular slices anyway.
