I’ve visited your location 4 times once to dine in and 3 times ordering takeout. Each time the customer service has been horrendous. Your wait staff is extremely unaccommodating and rude. I placed an order for pick up for 3:30pm today. I placed the order at 11:41am (I have a time stamp from my order email) to pick up at 3:30pm. I came all the way from New Jersey. My food was not even prepared or done and I call and they kept on adding more wait time to “pack my order”. I paid full price for my order and I placed it 3 hours in advance. This is honestly incredibly rude and poor on your staff’s part. The person on the phone didn’t even bother to accommodate me or to give me a discount for the hour and half wait time or to hurry up with the food. I didn’t get my food until right now at 4:30pm after waiting a whole hour extra and was greeted with huff and puffs from your staff when reviewing my food. I would love to think this was a one time thing. But I was just at your location on Monday (dining in) when I experienced the same wait and also got drenched because of the rain and wasn’t even given a discount nor offered to reheat my food after my entire meal was drenched in water.
I think it’s extremely unprofessional, and it saddens me that I didn’t even receive a proper apology or accommodation. If your restaurant is too busy to pick up orders. Then let the client know in advance. It’s the decent thing to do. I seek for a response and am hoping for some accommodation on your end for my wait time and the lack of customer service. Thank you...
Read moreIf I can give them 0 stars I would, The food was very bland and rather expensive, I was under the impression that the flavor would burst with every bite, the empanadas were rather expensive, $6 for two empanadas, you would think that theres something to write home about but all there is to write about is how greasy it was, the Arroz Chofan tasted like soy sauce and pineapples, still unsure why you would add pineapples and not peas and carrots. I was under the impression that the Pasta ala Vodka would be smothered in sauce, which i was wrong and they didn't even use the sauce. What really annoyed me was the Papi's Combo Platter (Pernil with Moro de Guandules, a staple in the Dominican community, but it tasted like the pernil was thrown in an instapot, and the rice tasted like plain Basmati rice, really upsetting. The only thing to go to the restaurant for would be to try the Papi's Dominican Pizza which wasn't enough to brag about and honestly can be created at home and probably would taste better. To complete the nightmare is how unprofessional and passive aggressive the staff are. Certainly would not order from this...
Read moreIf I could leave a 0 out of 5 I would. Food is good so maybe a 1. Besides that the staff treated my friends (girls) and I terribly. They had us bouncing from table to table because they weren't organized enough. Super embarrassing to us because their excuse was to keep buying drinks although we had bought bottles +more at our table meanwhile there were people with one drink the whole night. Seems like those who were friendly with staff didn't have this problem though. Staff should be wearing a uniform because random people kept coming up to us saying they worked there and trying to tell us what to do, including the "promoters". It's annoying having people we don't know constantly coming up to us and talking to us and we not even sure if they work there. One of the people that so called worked there got in my face and caused a huge scene which could have gotten real ugly. I know for a fact if we were out with men, even just one, this would have never happened. Get it together. Check...
