I frequently order from Marguez multiple times a week, with each order exceeding $100. As someone who values high-quality food and service, I expect a certain level of excellence. However, my recent experience ordering Marguez was disappointing. The store called me to inform me that they couldn't accommodate my request to hold the peppers, which I had specified was a food sensitivity. While I understand that customer service can be challenging, there's no excuse for the hostile tone the representative used when speaking with me. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years, I know that courtesy and empathy are essential. Unfortunately, Marguez failed to meet these basic expectations. With numerous other kosher restaurants in the area, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where my patronage is valued and my food sensitivities...

I highly recommend Margez Grill House on Ave M. Their customer service is exceptional. After placing an order, my food arrived half-open and squashed because the Uber driver had opened the bags. I contacted Margez, and they were extremely apologetic and explained how meticulous they are about kashrut, with their mashgiach double-checking the bags before delivery. They immediately suggested that I replace my order, ensuring it was secure. Two different managers called me to confirm the food was taped and sealed properly.

The portions were large and generous, and the food was incredibly tasty. The packaging was excellent, with dry and wet dishes separated to avoid sogginess – for instance, the chicken platter had the chicken in one container and the salad in another.
