I am from New York but have moved away so it is always a right of passage of mine to stop and grab a slice from Margherita’s while home visiting ! It is easily my favorite pizza place in New York! On this visit the pizza for sure did not disappoint it was still fresh and delicious as usual. The only down point of the experience is how much they have raised the prices since the last time I had been there. I ended up ordering 3 slices of cheese and 2 slices of pepperoni and a drink and paid over $22. I was extremely surprised when the price was told to me. Honestly the place is good but apart of the appeal was getting a good slice for a decent price.

Finally after years of hearing about this pizza I finally got a chance to grab a slice but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely a solid slice for the area but regular slice was a little on the thicker side for me good amount of sauce and cheese just didn’t get that wow factor I think if it was thinner and kept the crisp it would be better but overall it’s probably the best slice for the area of Jamaica so if I wanted a slice and I was around I would eat it but just not something I would go out of my way for

Really good and fresh pizza. The crust is perfect and just how i like it. It’s cooked a little more to give it a bit of crunch and the cheese is so yummy. It’s fresh and hot out the oven and the people seem nice. The mushroom topping is a little weird because it’s like full mushroom pieces not sliced or cut like I’m used to. So it gets a little slimy and interesting. Sausage was authentic but definitely try a cheese slice because it really is just amazing. Price was good though it has gone up but inflation I guess.

Not a bad Queens slice. Regular slices are $3.50, which is more or less the standard for NYC these days. Slice has plenty of cheese on it and thus, you can’t fold it. The pepperoni is great, but be prepared for more grease on top of the already greasy slice. Since it’s cheesier than most other slices, it’s also quite salty. Quick heads up: choose a slice already on the counter. If you want a regular cheese slice and the guys say “5 minutes”, you might be waiting for 10 minutes or more.

The best part of coming to Margherita's is the food. This is authentic New York pizza 🍕. Every time I come back home, I make sure that I stop here to get a few slices. It is the best tasting pizza and the cost is reasonable. My only issue was - not sure how they added everything up - because it was more than what was advertised. They prepare everything on the spot. So it's always hot and fresh. There are a few tables in the back where you can sit and eat.

I should not eat pizza with a fork, I can't lift without it falling apart. I've been eating pizza since I lived in Brooklyn. Where they have the best pizza. So far in Queens other than Ozone Park pizza on Liberty avenue this is not good at all. You can't enjoy your pizza if it's falling apart you try to lift it. Other than that the people are nice
