Food always arrives HOT, DELICIOUS, and with portions that are great sizes that I can share some with the wife who initially said she wasn't hungry when i placed the order and not be disappointed afterwards that im still hungry and really hits those authentic pasta cravings. So with the lets be honest about your hunger crisis averted the chicken ala vodka with grilled chicken cutlet and lasagna are on point. wish they were closer so i could order on foot but then I'd be broke and someone else will be getting her spaghetti. Love the bread and garlic knots too. My orders have been consistent which is understandably a hard ask from many restaurants that are taking orders from multiple delivery platforms, a lot can go wrong, but it hasn't. I gotta say though I'm very surprised that a delivery driver has not stolen my delicious order for his own stomach already. I wouldn't even be mad, I'd understand the action. The bag is so hot when you get it and from such a long distance it makes the exorbitant delivery and service fees worth shelling out the extra clams because i don't get food so fresh out the oven unless it came from my own kitchen and since it didn't im currently looking for black holes and interdimensional rifts to find out how it was possible and will update my review pending the outcome of my findings. AMAZING! We live in Jersey and typically stop at a place up the street when we take the kids to the zoo. Fortunately they closed early on NYE so we took a chance and picked up a pie at Mario's. Yes, the staff was VERY friendly & since the bakeries had all just closed, we had to get our canollis from Mario's as well, it's worth mentioning because they were excellent. But no one goes to a pizza place for service and canolli, they go for the pizza. I ordered a pie to go but was worried the 40 min till we could start eating would ruin it. But the place looked right and smelled right, so we have it a shot. So happy we did, it is definitely our new favorite for the Arthur Ave area and beats anything we can get in Bergen County. First time ordering from Mario’s. Okay straight to the point- Chicken Marsala— THE BEST! Linguine was perfectly cooked, mushrooms were super fresh and the chicken was well seasoned and thinly sliced. All the textures you’re looking for culminate delightfully in your mouth along with the wine, butter, evoo and garlic sauce. Also ordered Fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken. It was a perfect balance of cream sauce and pasta. Hot and fresh. I hate when pasta is swimming in sauce. Again pasta was perfectly cooked. And it was seasoned just right. Chicken was excellent.
