Very slowly service.
I had already been to the restroom before ordering because it took almost 20 minutes to take the orders of the 2 people in front of me.
After ordering, I mentioned that the men's restroom had no toilet paper. The cashier said she would get that taken care of.
I had my food and was in eyeshot of the restroom.until I finished eating. No one went in. I asked again about the toilet paper, and the cashier was rude, saying she had to go all the way to the back to get the guy in the grill area to go replace the paper (as if the 15 steps was a trek across America.)
It has now been 85 minutes, and there is no change in the restroom. The cashier glares at me, as if I am supposed to go wait in a booth for the paper to be replenished.
Meanwhile, the cashier has been chatting with a friend almost nonstop. I'm not sure why the manager, who knows I asked about the restroom, isn't doing anything either.
The manager just came out to ask if I wanted a pile of napkins for the restroom, since the guy in the back grill area was busy. There were never more than two orders in the queue at a time, and there were multiple people in the back with him working.
This isn't a situation where "it was better in the old days." This is purely negligence and spite, when there was plenty of time and overlapping resources behind the counter to be able to take care of a simple toilet paper replacement in the men's room.
To be clear, the man in the grill area was not asked to replace the paper until 11:15pm. I had been in McDonalds since 9:50pm. This was not his fault.
When the man came out with the toilet paper, I recognized him as the person who was directly next to the heat lamps in the front of the grill area. Asking him to replenish the toilet paper would have taken seconds, without the cashier having to move from her station.
Won't be back. I didn't allocate an hour and a half for 10 minutes of eating and more than an hour to get toilet paper.
