I have to agree with most of the reviewers. This is our local neighborhood McDonald's which most of us have been going to for years, it used to be pretty good years ago but it went downhill ever since. After the renovation it got even worse I have experienced extremely long waiting time even for something so simple as a small french fries. You constantly see people that ordered after you getting the food before you, and that's a puzzle. The food quality went down quite a bit, the chicken nuggets are inedible, they look like they shrunk they are dry and tasteless. They often give you cold food because half of the order is ready and sits in the bag while the rest of the food is being prepared, instead of having the french fries sitting where they used to to keep them warm they sit in the bag for 10 minutes and McDonald's french fries are not good when cold. When I complained that my sandwich was cold the employee laughed at me and said it was warm enough. They also tend to not fill up the french fries containers as they used to, years ago the fries used to spill out of the bag or cardboard now it barely reaches the top and for the price that they charge it's really not worth it. They do not give you any napkins or ketchup unless you specifically ask. The employees are either Clueless, disinterested, or rude. You often have to wait in line to order for ages while people are talking and walking aimlessly while no one is at the register. There was a gentleman that was trying to get the manager attention to resolve an issue and he was completely ignored for at least 15 minutes. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever went to. This location was reopen a few days ago and I assumed things were good to be good but I was wrong . I ordered a file-o- fish meal , no tartar sauce add mayonnaise and with a vanilla shake , my daughter ordered nuggets and fries . I was told the ice cream machine was broken . I said …. Why ? You just open! Then I said ok . I payed . I didn’t realize the cashier order me a sandwich with Mac sauce when I clearly said add mayo no tartar sauce . When I notice my sandwich was wrong I go back and tell the manager I ordered a sandwich with no tartar sauce add mayo . He said I was getting a new sandwich. When he came back he game me the wrong sandwich. So I told another employee this is the wrong sandwich for the second time . So I had to wait for a third sandwich , they had me waiting for my sandwich while Mami’s other ppl’s orders instead of making my sandwich a priority when they ruing my order in the fist place . Did the same thing to another customer , didn’t give her the full order and had her waiting there , that’s ridiculous and unacceptable. They have horrible customer service . By the time I got back to my table I realize my nuggets were over cooked . After waiting for 3 sandwiches I wasn’t gonna deal with them again . I don’t write reviews , this is my first one . This location sucks , every time I go there with my daughter , it’s always something, enough is enough . I wish that location didn’t re open again. I will never go back there....
Read moreJust recently renovated the store and it looks great.... now they just need to work on improving their staff. I don't know why they have the worst customer service compared to all the other McDonald's in Brooklyn. They appear incompetent, unorganized and very lazy. I have seen full screaming fights in front of customers when I was there where the employee would literally stand there and watch the manager (who was new at the time) struggle to pack orders and send them out. Then when the manager would ask the employee to do something to help, they would literally just stand there and say no. And the manager did what? Absolutely nothing. It was a joke. I truly believe if they would finally appoint a strong leader in that store, they could turn that store into a money maker. It is a prime spot with lots of opportunities. It's a shame to see this happen for just lack of motivation or experience.. I've been managing in the food industry for over 15 years... it's sad to see corporate businesses get away with this laziness. If this was a small business, the doors would have been shut down years ago. The only reason it's still running is because of the brand. Can you imagine the revenue you could get from that store if it was to finally be taken...
