SUMMARY: Terrible drinks quality, useless staff, garbage atmosphere, even worse attitude.

DETAIL: Visited to watch a football match. They had the game on screen but no sound, instead playing some awful soft country rock. I asked the waitress if they could put the sound on the TV closest to me. She said she'd "go see if we can". Didn't, and didn't come back to confirm one way or another.

Ordered a lime cordial & soda and a pint of Stella Artois. Waitress didn't bring the lime & soda and the pint was completely flat. Sent it back and asked for a fresh pint. She brought a second one and told me they've "checked the gas so should be ok". Still no lime & soda. I asked if she could bring my other drink and she said "oh right, I'll get it right now for you".

Upon lifting the second pint in the air, it was clear there was not a single bubble rising through the glass. Took it to the bar and asked for any pint of lager that was fizzy (since the Stella obviously wasn't gassed correctly).

Whilst waiting for a fresh, fizzy, normal, non-flat pint, my lime & soda arrived. Only it wasn't lime & soda, it was a glass of soda with a chunk of lime in it.

Since that was the last straw in a miserable 15 minutes, I gathered my belongings to leave when the bartender bounced over and said "the waitress said you've sent to pints back" and asked 'what the problem was'. I told him the beer is flat. He asked do I want a bottle instead? I said no I'd wanted a pint that wasn't flat and a lime & soda, and told him they didn't even get that drink right; and proceeded to leave.

On my way out the bar tender was jawing away that the beer is fine and the soft drink was correct "yeah lime & soda is soda with a piece of lime in it". There was a final exchange of words as I exited and he shrank back behind the bar.

Absolutely disgraceful service. Absolutely disgusting attitude. Absolutely laughable knowledge (or lack thereof). Avoid at all costs and go literally...

Bar is good but food NOT good. Went there to eat and everything started great. Person at door apologized about wait and then let me in to stand in warmth. Table came quick. Great atmosphere. Service was very poor, came to the table about 1.5 times unless we flagged down. Asked for condiments that never came, and drinks only refilled after we looked for the server to get. Pretzels good with beer cheese. Coke was good… but that’s it. Fish and chips were small strips with no taste(why use Soul fish???), kids chicken nuggets over fried very hard, lastly 29.00 roast beef.. Sliced extremely thin beef, boxed potatoes, and frozen veg. Very disappointing, and no one to express this to…. Server gave me someone else’s bill and then gave back the bill 3 times with incorrect info. Go there for the Bar but food needs some serious work! The host at the podium with the cool dreadlock hair should be the manager. He treated us very good and is the only reason I did not go into more detail because I think they can improve because of...

The why we’re only giving one star: chicken was dry and old, both wings and tenders; the service was friendly but it’s hard to not feel like you’re being purposely ignored when the server actively attends the two other tables in the section. Sorry bud, but we waited 10 minutes for you to greet us. We were about to get up and leave. You forgot which drink I ordered, had to be reminded twice for water, and didn’t check in on us at all until we had finished the food and then took 15 minutes to bring us the check. It wasn’t that busy at the bar. I know how it is to balance drinks and tables on a steady night but we were bout to dine and dash. What really rubbed me the wrong way was how you were so much more attentive with the only fans table and the new group next to us.
